I am sure if things get out of control and they see that Italian teams have advanced in Europe with a "push" then I bet they step in because not only would these teams have taken advantage in Italy to get ahead but that means they unfairly increased in strength through the wrong means like cheating, etc to get ahead in Europe.
They won't do anything if it costs them money. They could step in if Inter were no longer a factor in Europe but so long as they qualify and people tune in to watch them they will compromise nothing. Football is a business.

I don't believe that. They are stepping in with the FFP rules and THAT is compromising big clubs business. They seem to be making it more even for all clubs and if even is the name of the new game then Inter are the reason other teams suffered.

It just doesn't make sense to me that with UEFA making this FFP rule book would overlook a massive scandal.

Nothing new yet other than Casoria fixing the next date for October 25th pushing the verdict to mid November at a minimum.

Never. It fell out of statute. The only possible thing that can happen is that Auricchio names them in his eventual trial but who knows if that will even happen at this point. From a sporting perspective Inter won't stand trial for any of this. The 5 year mark came and went.

FFP is gradual and benefits large groups of fans/teams. This would benefit one lower ranking Serie A team and its fans who would take Inter's place and eliminate Inter who have a large fan base. Not the same.

No one fucking watches Inter anyways on TV. Milan & Juve ALWAYS drew the bigger audiences and always will.
Would Udinese? or Genoa? They would be the types of teams to take Inter's place. Juve and Milan should qualify (usually) anyway. Besides, this thing would impact Milan too since they too were found violating article 6 and no one is touching Berlumerda's toy at UEFA.

:sergio: Oh ffs I just wish it ends already, it's rather frustrating.
Just hold on D...we are almost there. :D

I really doubt that that one of these teams would make that HUGE of a deficit in CL earnings for UEFA. I mean, honestly how can you calculate it? Hell, I try to watch all the games anyways, not just the one where my team is playing. I think most people try and watch all the games, even when it's shitty teams because it's the CL. We aren't asking to clean house respectively, rather just one dishonest & dirty team. And once this trial ends and all the evidence is public and the world knows the truth, I would bet the only people NOT asking for Inter's head would be the Inter fans. People would rather have a dirty team out than in.

Wishful thinking. The odds of UEFA or FIFA getting involved are slim to nil. The only way I see it is if Inter falls off the map competitively and therefore little sacrifice is made on their part. Even still though, you are asking them to take action against Inter while ignoring Milan’s violations and that would just mean that Interisti would scream bloody murder. UEFA would definitely not damage both. You can believe whatever, I would love it if you were right but I don’t see UEFA doing much. Fines tops. I doubt even that.
