Doubt they'll do anything about it.

Plus there is nothing illegal about what City did.
UEFA's FFP talks about fair market value in regards to sponsorship deals, to prevent owners from using their other business interest to cover the club's losses by offering inflated sponsorship deals.

It is highly unlikely City would have received a similar amount had they went to any other company but Etihad Airways, whose connection to their owner is obvious. It would be like New Holland paying Juve 30m euros a year for our sponsorship deal 2 years ago.

They have exploited a loop hole though, since UEFA's FFP does not apply to investments in youth or infrastructure. The Etihad deal could fall under both of those as City are developing the area around their stadium.

Juventus' John Elkann hits back at Inter's Massimo Moratti over 2006 Calciopoli title remarks

Elkann asks Italian authorities to treat the Turin giants with fairness over the widely debated 2006 title, which has caused another row between the clubs involved

Juventus chief John Elkann has told Inter president Massimo Moratti to mind his own business over the Turin club's pursuit of the 2006 Calciopoli Scudetto.

Moratti recently told Juve president Andrea Agnelli to 'go on holiday' rather than worry about going to the CAS (Court of Arbitration for Sport) to have the 2006 title reinstated, after the Italian FA refused to accept their legal appeals last month.

Furious at the remarks made by the Inter supremo, Elkann has now hit back: "It's always right to listen to men of a certain age [Moratti], but Juventus plan their own holidays," he told Il Corriere dello Sport.

"Agnelli has acted coherently and asked for Juventus to be treated fair and equally. If this is not the case then it means there is something to hide.

"It's now down to Juventus to judge who is guilty or innocent, but we just want to be treated like the rest."

I regestered and tried to debate with them but all they said were comments like Juve can eat my dick and so fourth.

There was one guy there who was realistic and accepted what was going on but the rest believed it was a big conspiracy against them by Juve and the FIGC and that Agnelli is only making these comments to take the pressure off our team after a poor season.

Im juventino1897 but I havn't been back on a while.

I honestly never met an Inter fan who was not delusional. I think that's what happens to you if you complain for 20 years about not winning a trophy, you eventually believe your lies.

It's funny though, for a club facing so many problems you would think their president would act and reply in a manner that befits reality. In fantasy land I drive a gold tank and live in a temperate climate on Neptune.

Reality: Inter did the same as the other big clubs, probably worse given the evidence
Moratti cloud cuckoo land: Inter are honest and deservedly won the scudetto, championing against immorality

This isn't very hard to understand. He genuinely believes the opposite. There is something seriously wrong with this guy, and there has been for a long time. He created all this because he was a delusional, paranoid, daddy's boy freak.

The facts are there to listen to and read, both in terms of evidence and through FIGC prosecution procedure. Inter's sainted golden boy committed acts on par with or worse than Luciano Moggi. Read it and weep, you couldn't write it better.

There is no response to this, no opinion, nothing. Inter deserved demotion according to the sporting laws. End. Fin. Finito.

Very well said Vajayjay.

I just love the fact that their number one bandiera was a fucking cheat. So typical of that scumbag of a club. Fuck International Football Club of Milan (hopefully their future name when they are rebranded in Serie Z)

Rich owner will definitely find the holes of the new regulation. See City, they already find the hole and agreed unbelievable sponsorship deal with Emirates Airlines. Princes push their state-owned companies to sponsor their huge loss making teams and cover it.
As far as I know this sponsorship deal that City made hasn't gone unnoticed by UEFA. I remember even Wenger talking about this one and saying such things shouldn't be allowed to happen and this is worthy of an investigation. As far as I'm concerned, should this regulation fail to bring stability in world football Platini should resign from his post.
