I agree. Where was he in the summer of 2006 when the media were slandering Juventus at every turn? Where was he afterwards when Moggi and numerous former league officials won a series a of minor court decisions (all of which all severly undermined the original 2006 verdict)?

They only spoke up recently, on the back of a massive uproar from fans once the Naples wiretaps were released, which even the doubters amongst our own fans could not play down.

It's a meaningless gesture to show they tried. If the FIGC maintain their original 2006 decision, Juventus will do nothing, just like they have done for the last 5 years.
There isn't a right or wrong way to go about this. He could have been much more aggressive sure, then pissed off everyone that could hurt us more...then you all would be crying even more.

Sometimes diplomacy is needed.

do you think the fans should do something Turk? Like go to the FIGC, Juve HQ, Napoli trial and demand(with force if necessary) to have justice done and not postpone this shit?
Too late. But believe me if there was a serious action from fans, we could have avoided relegation. No fucking proof, they are demolishing a world cup winning team with biggest fanbase. Everything is happening is 3 weeks and judge is a former Inter employee. This shit is justifying riot.

Andrea wasn't in charge when the club was in a position to make the appeal.

Make more friends in key positions... the Italian way. The Moggi way.
He is living in Italy, this is way of the things happening there. No need to add water to already cooked water.
Andrea has chance to reveal biggest conspiracy in sports history. Using the opportunity or always being a pawn in hands of Elkann family is his choice.

Not the president of Juventus?
I know. My point was if he is so concerned about our stolen titles, why was wasn't he making noise in 2006. You don't need to be a club president to be heard when your an Agnelli, as proven by Lapo.

There isn't a right or wrong way to go about this. He could have been much more aggressive sure, then pissed off everyone that could hurt us more...then you all would be crying even more.

Not saying/doing anything resulted in our relegation and stripping of 2 titles. Given the severity of our punishment, I don't see what could have been said to provoke worse.

Being more aggressive would have sent a signal that they will not take this lying down. The Agnelli family are very connected and influential. All this talk of Morratti taking advantge of our vulnerability in the abscense of Gianni and Umberto is nonsense. The Agnelli's are full of elites and royals (and have been for over a hundred years) with billions to their name and a business empire touching many things. If they threw their weight behind Juventus things would have been different.

It seems to me that this is much more complicated than first appeared . Having this trial running for over 5 years while Juve were punished back then for less than a 2 weeks doesn't always seem quite right to me. Even with all kind of sources proving Juve was acting no different than any other team back then and with many important persons related to this trial saying it was a big farce, we still can't get anywhere in this.

This makes me think that the Juve directors and people close to Juve themselves don't wish this trial to end and fear the truth. This all was a huge set up and it is clear in my eyes but having read many articles concerning this subject i'm feeling it's not Moratti but Elkanns who wanted Juve bankrupt in order to take full control of it.

No shadow of doubt, relegation of Juventus was discussed between Elkann, Montezemolo and Moratti.

Borrelli admits Calciopoli was a farce.

- I couldn't ask for the phone calls/transcripts.
- They sent some to me after they showed up in the papers.
- I got only the ones to penalize Juve.
- If I had the ones from other clubs then it would have been a whole new story.
- I was deprived of all the facts.
- It was embarrassing using only certain calls/transcripts and not allowing the defense to defend itself to the Sporting Court.

Very important. Do you have the source?
