In terms of actual action he can take then not a lot. But a whole year later he makes a meaningless statement trying to put them under pressure when everyone has forgotten what he's talking about. He has the power to make a huge deal out of this injustice in the press, to bring it back into public awareness but he does nothing apart from a twitter comment. It's a petty action to appease the fans
I agree. Where was he in the summer of 2006 when the media were slandering Juventus at every turn? Where was he afterwards when Moggi and numerous former league officials won a series a of minor court decisions (all of which all severly undermined the original 2006 verdict)?
They only spoke up recently, on the back of a massive uproar from fans once the Naples wiretaps were released, which even the doubters amongst our own fans could not play down.
It's a meaningless gesture to show they tried. If the FIGC maintain their original 2006 decision, Juventus will do nothing, just like they have done for the last 5 years.
