Now we know that Moggi is on to something. On the 19th of April the FIGC decided to expel Moggi indefinitely from soccer in Italy. All of a sudden they decided to “reinterpret” the rules that were changed in 2007 so that Moggi cannot come back.

http://www.calciomercato.com/index.php?c=7&a=177804
On what grounds are they banning him? What pathetic excuse have they used to give Moggi a life ban?

I have little/no faith in sporting courts (in most countries, let alone Italy), but I retain some faith in the real court system.

For instance, I find it astonishing that the FIGC's rules allow them to change a person's length of ban at the drop of a hat.

I don't suppose they even had the decency to have a hearing to make it look like they would consider counter arguments?
FIGC is run by moRATti's lapdogs. Only in real courts would anyone have a chance of justice, in Italy's case: - the EU court!

......

The original trials, we all now know, more than suggest that Inter control the FIGC. I mean...the people who created new punishments, then handed them to Juventus, were and are more than mildly connected with Inter. The missing phone calls??? Again...Inter knew what they were doing.

Who gained the most from our demotion? Inter.
Who controlled our demotion? Inter.
Who seems more guilty now than Juve, in light of the phone calls that Moggi has somehow got hold of? Inter.
As Marcus Tullius Cicero asked: - Cui bono?

Juventus captain Ale Del Piero admits he is nostalgic for the time when Luciano Moggi was at the club......

........The 35-year-old World Cup winner was then asked about reports linking England manager Fabio Capello with a return to Juventus.

“He is fine where he is,” Del Piero concluded.

If Juve did, all Italian teams could be kicked out of UEFA and FIFA competitions.
That's a good reason to do so. If other teams were going to be banned from europe, they would lose money! Who cares about cheats like inter playing in Europe? BAN THEM!

Gsol, if Moggi is acquitted by the court in Naples, do you know if it would be possible for him to bring a civil case against Auricchio for evidence tampering?
Or FIGC for unjustly banning him?

Is it possible to take this directly to UEFA or FIFA or even possibly to the EU courts?

A court outside of Italy might be helpful or no?
Yes! But who will stand up for Juve? GLMDJ?
Ya so? Who's going to bring it there?

GLMDJ intend to bring it to a European Commerce Court but for FIFA or UEFA to get involved, a team has to bring the matter to them. Do you really think Juventus is doing that?
As 'shareholders of Juve' would they be allowed to ask FIFA or UEFA to become involved?

Yes but if Moggi takes him being banned from football case to the civil courts none of that would imply, and he should.
Moggi already is in the civil courts.
I think what JBF means is that he could take them to court to contest the ban. He would need to win his current court case first, then take FIGC to court to contest the ban.

Then he should sue FIGC and Telecom Italia. The former for the unjust ban and the latter for their illegal phone taps violating his Human Right to privacy (He was not conducting criminal activities, so their phone taps were illegal and infringed his Human Rights).

If he could provide proof that information from any calls relating to transfers were passed to interesti, that would also be 'industrial espionage' as football clubs are technically businesses in Italy. (Difficult to prove, I guess, but I remember that inter were always 'interested' in the same players as Juve. We now know why!)

So…then what. He wins a million civil court cases and…the FIGC is still crooked. You guys are all thinking in terms of legitimacy. Even if GLMDJ could go to UEFA (which I am not sure of) nothing would happen because Telecom would just threaten everyone with money. Unless Moggi becomes more powerful than Telecom the league will stay corrupt.

The only hope left is that Telecom go to shit in their own case where Tavarolli has turned state's witness. Even still, they'll buy their way out. It's the Italian way.

It doesn't hurt me as bad emotionally as bad to see moggi banned as it does to see my club as powerful as it used to be do nothing about it's injustices.

Don't worry they are fine with it. They've been bought out and are making it quite clear.

It's not that I want to piss on everyone's parade but fans need to understand three things.

    1) Juventus the fanns care about pride, Juventus the team care about profit and they know that pushing to get 200 million at once will only be at the expense of much more income in the future through sponsorship.

    2) Italy is corrupt. From the highest court to the lowest. Have as little faith as possible their justice system but especially do not count on the FIGC.

    3) Yesterday they proved that they will stop at nothing to keep Moggi out. There was no justification or new evidence against him and they simply extended his ban with no explanation.

If he went to European Court and won...so? They'll find another way to keep him out.

As far as the "what does this mean for Juve?" question. They are asking for the revocation of the 2006 title. That just about says it all.

Moggi is claiming that the FIGC banning him is a lie based on the fact that they have not communicated it to him yet. Not sure that it matters. All they have to do is sign a paper and mail it to him.

It's amazing how this last month difinitively demonstrated the agenda at the FIGC 4 years ago and the protection that Inter got in those days and now Inter's boys will benefit from a statute of limitations rule while Moggi gets banned for life.

I didn't mean to shit on everyone's parade here but yesterday's news really got to me. It just brought out the fact that justice in Italy is less likely than we thought.

In July the Telecom sponsorship ends. Let's hope a new face emerges and ends this bullshit.

How much more evidence to people need? This is a Federal Court judge saying that the season was legitimate and there was no illicit activity back in 2006.

    http://www.corriere.it/Primo_Piano/Cronache/2006/07_Luglio/27/sandulli.shtml

That alone should have reopened everything...in a country with civil rights.

I can't believe at the first attempt Moggi makes to defend himself and plead his case he cops a ban. That's fucking ludicrous. How can we possibly expect justice to be served in this footballing poltical climate?

The news about Moggi banned is insane. After all the hampered evidence show up and incriminate Inter. How can Moggi get banned.

At first i have hope there is a justice in ITaly and FIGC, but now i lost it. I don't know what better for us because that won't happen

wait how can moggi be banned? what paying the price for a crime that he didnt comit and a crime that he is already paying for, so how can he be banned for the same crime twice?
Again you are thinking in terms of logic, law, rights lie proof, evidence, double jeapardy...THIS IS ITALY...none of those things apply.

They could come up with a rule that states that a name that starts with "Luciano" and ends in "Moggi" is an automatic Article 6 violation and that will be suffcient.

Seriously did any of you really expect justice? As I said back when this whole "Calciopoli II" started there was never any reason for us to get our hopes up.
