I think there is sufficient evidence presented by Moggi’s team to prove that he was not privy to an exclusive relationship with anyone that would give way to a “system”. All other accusations have already been discredited.
Moggi has a point about the call. I too commented here after hearing it because to me it sounded like Bergamo saying “Collina” but people are splitting hairs. Facchetti influenced the grid in that call regardless of who said “Collina” when he had Bertini removed because “we have a problem with him”.
When Elio Corno was referring to the Carraro’s call where he ensures that "if there is a mistake in the Juve-Inter game that it not favour Juve" he had a point. Honestly…that is huge. If ever there was proof that Moggi didn't control the FIGC it's in that call between the league's head designator and federation's president.

In a fair and proper system yes. Hating Bertini and ensuring he will not officiate the game could be viewed as an external advantage. I'm sure all directors hate a referee but when they get him...they get him. That's the nature of the draw that all have to adhere to. If Facchetti bypassed it then he influenced the grid and possibly the match.
Yeah. In the end I think that this will only add to the screw job we got in 2006. If the FIGC comes out and admits that they wronged us and that the decision was worth hundreds of millions to us then they will maintain that the relegation was proper regardless of what is found in this investigation. They will have little to defend themselves with if they admit we were screwed and they let it happen. It’s too big a liability.
They will as a result have to punish all other clubs and will do so very marginally in order to show that they did their due diligence while not destroying the league a second time.
I expect them to fine all newly implicated teams (which they will pocket) and that will be that. They will then vacate the 2006 title and it will appear as though Inter were punished even though they are only being stripped of OUR scudetto. I could see them maybe losing the Coppa Italia from 2005 since there are calls regarding the tournament and the Supercoppa as a result but that will be that.
Doing the right thing will expose way too much liability for the FIGC and cost them way too much money. What a mistake this whole thing was.
