gsol, forgive me for my ignorance, but who again is leading the European Appeal, as far as i have read gsol mentions no name of the people or the groups trying still fighting calciopoli and it's punishment? who are they? Do they have any link or collaboration with the current Juventus board of directors? I'm not trying to doubt u or anything but i'd just like to know a bit more about the proccess of attempting to reverse calciopoli

That's so messed up. Why is it that Goal is carrying that report and not any other source? Last time I've checked it wasn't on Channel 4 or even Reuters
What report? The bullet report was in la Gazzetta but it was in Italian.

In short the appeal for Juventus has nothing to do with Juve's current board. A group of shareholders and fans called Giu Le Mani Dalla Juve (createdby lawyer Giuseppe Belvisio) have established the organization as a class action association and have hired a team of lawyers. Heading the team of lawyers is Luc Mission of the Bosman case.

    Capello: Juve's Scudetti Were Stolen

Fabio Capello has stated in no uncertain terms that the two Scudetti that were revoked from Juventus following the Calciopoli scandal, were “stolen” from the club.

Current England national team boss Capello has one of the most incredible CV’s in the history of football management.

The 61-year-old has won four domestic championships with AC Milan, two with Real Madrid, one with Roma, and another two with Juventus.

The couple he won with the Bianconeri were of course later revoked following the Calciopoli crisis in the summer of 2006.

Juventus fans have always maintained that Calciopoli was just a conspiracy involving Massimo Moratti, Tronchetti Provera, Guido Rossi, and possibly even some of Juve’s own management.

Capello clearly feels along similar lines such as these, and says that the two Scudetti he won with Juventus were stolen from him.

"How many league titles have I won? I have won nine [not seven],” Capello told SKY.

On my table there are nine trophies. Then someone stole them."

The Juventus first team that played under Capello during his two seasons in charge included seven finalists from the 2006 World Cup final, as well as three of the four top-scorers in Serie A this season in David Trezeguet, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Adrian Mutu.

Moggi: I Will Return, But Not Under This Juve

Former Juventus general manager Luciano Moggi says he is ready to return to football, but insists he could never work at the Bianconeri under the current leadership.

Moggi was widely referred to as the King of the transfer gurus up until the Calciopoli crisis in the summer of 2006.

The 70-year-old received a five-year ban from football for his alleged role in the scandal, meaning that he cannot return until 2011, by which time he will be 74.

However Moggi insists that he is ready to return to football, and has clearly hinted that the date of this return could be much sooner than many people expect.

He has pointed out though that he will not be working in any capacity under the current Juventus leadership, who he has criticised heavily on numerous occasions over the past 18 months.

"I am ready to return and I hope to do so soon,” Moggi declared.

“But I can exclude a future at Juve under this leadership.”

Moggi is still bitter with his exit following Calciopoli, and has maintained all along that the whole scandal was a conspiracy.

He could not resist another dig at current Juve President Giovanni Cobolli Gigli, general manager Jean-Claude Blanc, and sporting director Alessio Secco.

“I believe that the current Bianconeri leadership are not in harmony with [Coach] Ranieri, who is doing an excellent job," Moggi explained.

When Moggi is reinstated I think we will see an uprising from teh Juve fans ordering the resignations of the pricks that Moggi won't work for. If not he wil go to Milan as Berlusconi has been keen to hire him for years. So was Moratti actually but that would just be impossible now.

    Moggi seeks fresh start
    Wednesday 19 March, 2008

Disgraced former Juventus director Luciano Moggi wants to return to football, but admits he couldn’t be part of the new Bianconeri organisation.

The 70-year-old was widely regarded as the peninsula’s top transfer guru, but he fell from grace when he was implicated at the centre of the Calciopoli scandal in the summer of 2006.

Moggi was banned from football for five years, but is already aching to return and hinted that he may be back in the game before 2011.

“I am ready to return and I hope to do so soon,” he revealed. “But I can exclude a future at Juve under this leadership.”

Moggi has been highly critical of President Giovanni Cobolli Gigli and sporting director Alessio Secco this term and again took a shot at the Old Lady’s current path.

“I believe that the current Juventus leadership isn’t in harmony with Coach Claudio Ranieri, who is doing an excellent job,” the Siena native said.

“What do I think of signing Amauri? He is not a champion. Trezeguet is much better. I don’t understand why Juve are going to buy him.”

I agree! Another waste of money. We have Trez and some good youngsters like Lanzafame, that will be ready to take over from him in a few years time.

Moggi’s Calciopoli ban upheld Wednesday 19 March, 2008

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The arbitration court has rejected former Juventus director Luciano Moggi’s appeal against his five-year ban from football.

Moggi was indicted by the Calciopoli verdicts of 2006 when Juve were found guilty of trying to influence the allocation of referees in Serie A.

The respected transfer guru became the personification of corruption in calcio in the eyes of many and he announced that he had quit the world of football.

However, the 70-year-old hardly left the public eye before he began criticising the current leadership at Juve and he has been hinting at a return to the game with a different club.

Today’s ruling has dealt a serious blow to that plan, as Moggi will definitely be exiled from the game until 2011.

The failure in the courts will also hit Moggi in the wallet with a fine of £30,000 waiting to be paid

Oh shit!!...... Is this it or can he appeal once more??

I'm getting updates as we speak but I am so pissed off right now.

Obviously now all the retards who have something to say against us will be adding a new argument to their dwindling arsenal of urban legends and that disgusts me.

Here's what is coming out so far:

The season was legitimate, the games were not fixed, no bribery or threatening occurred BUT Luciano Moggi used his influence to condition referees psychologically and condition the designers psychologically in obtaining favorable referees.

    ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!!!

This is the same court (TAR) that absolved all the referees, and all the referee designers so far. It is the same court that has admitted that no game was altered and that no referee selection process was ever tampered with.

So what exactly did Moggi do and with who?

This psychological conditioning bullshit is just a way to isolate Moggi and save all the others. With this new excuse we no longer need proof of a payment, or a call with an actual threat etc. etc. All we need is fancy wording and a winning season.

There were no calls between Moggi and referees (except when Paparesta called him got trashed and hung up on in about 9 seconds). All the referees admitted to never speaking with him. Moggi was in no decision making position like say Galliani or Carraro (then) or Moratti (now) so where the hell was the psychological conditioning? What could he use to condition referees?

No it's not his last appeal. He can go to the federal civil court and then to the European court.

If we learned one thing today it's that there is no point in appealing in Italy where certain people call the shots. I should have known that the TAR Court feared the wrath of Confindustria and the Saras Group.

Well if it is as clear as you point out, we may as well give up because obviously noone in Italy is ever going to clear us of sweet fuck all

That answers everyone's question of "Why did GLMDJ appeal in Europe?"

    Now you all see.
