Referees Better In Europe - Totti

Roma captain Francesco Totti made some more provocative statements aimed at Inter regarding the different refereeing standards in Europe and the Italian league.

Francesco Totti seems more charged up than ever. It might be because of Roma's excellent form, his own good condition, or Inter's difficult moment, which can only give the Giallorossi a morale boost ahead of the final stretch of the Serie A season.

The Roma captain commented on the Nerazzurri's elimination from the Champions League, and on their coach Roberto Mancini's apparent decision (which has been allegedly already been retracted) to resign at the end of the season.

"I thought he would make this decision later, but he decided to speak out," Totti said. "He should be respected. Inter's elimination? Sincerely we have only read the newspapers, those are Inter's problems."

The number 10 commented on the behaviour of referees in international matches: "International referees are different with Inter? Yes, for them Inter and Liverpool are two teams like any other. These referees whistle without any conditioning.

"We only think about doing well. We want to go far in the Champions League and get closer to Inter. It's too bad because certain situations have penalised us, but it's OK, we'll keep on going. We believe in it."

Totti should stop being sarcastic and we should all stop crying over these referee shit. We know, they know, everyone knows. So what? Not like as if we could stop it from happening. Afterall bribing wont last them long and Napoli proved Inter just that. We should be better than Napoli afterall so lets just show these Inter fags what we got and tell them we can still win with or without Moggi

It wont last long??
So what if it last for a few more decades, huh?
No, we should demand a clear league, once and for all, all these have to stop sometimes and i think this is the right time, i expect gadgets and cameras to assist the ref's work, if they are not competent enough, then they should accept some help from technology.
The only reason to reject that, is because they want to manipulate the results on purpose...

True that although it wouldn't be any easier seeing that most people have already expressed their opinion on technology being applied in football. You see there's the part of fun in it for many others in these dubious, doubtful decisions where they make headlines and for forums like these to discuss about. Is it going to be possible for this to last a decade and nothing will be done to it? Perhaps. If we could really do something about it, I would gladly do it. However as far as I see it we cant. These manipulators can win all they like because like i said. Not everyone is blind. Somehow one day i hope that it shouldnt be us who fears the referees but instead it should be the other way around. Although every tiny bit would affect a referee's judgment. Without fear for fans referees would be daring enough to do whatever they like. With fear, they hesitate to make certain decisions. I guess at the end of the day we are all stuck reaching nowhere.

I see people still getting plenty of enjoyment in Hockey and Football forums. The only difference is that those forums and headlines have to do with the game and the players and less to do with the circumstances that kill the competition. I' rather have accuracy than the arguments.

Jack, I have no idea why he's changing his mind. Maybe he caught a lot of shit by his sponsors with his decision...I don't know. We'll see I guess.

In about a week we'll know if Moggi is cleared from sporting fraud. Moggi's defense was that he wasn't a member of Juve at the time of the accusations thus couldn't be judged and sentenced.

What impact will it have on Juve if he's cleared? boh! I think for our scudetti we'll have to wait for the europeen court's decision.

The mega process in Naples about calciopoli starts in 3 days(not sure) and could last for months.

    That's part of his defense.

The reason he is using that argument is because the Federal Court tried him when he was no longer a member of Juve's management, yet when he appealed they told him that since he was no longer a member of the team's management that the court could not accept his appeal. Can you believe that?

    unfortunately yes I can.

That's why I'm not too positive about the end result.

    ok so put Benitez. :D

anyway, did you hear about all the refs from calciopoli being acquitted? The last 4 remaining could be acquitted soon according to some media sources in Italy.

If all the refs are innocent, what does this make Moggi?

I want my fuckin' scudetti back and see Moratti cut it from inter's shirt and give it to Moggi.

If the referee's are being cleared then Moggi by default gets cleared, no? Also you mentioned about the European courts possibly rewarding us our scudetti back, is there an ongoing case about this or what?

But even if all the refs are cleared, will it change anything since it's already stated by the FIGC that no Juve matches were fixed ?

Weren't we relegated for something else that had nothing to do with fixing matches with referees help ?
