hahahaha Juventus have been fined 3000 euros for fan behaviour yesterday...just register in France already and get it over with.

This is humiliating. I think I might change my citizenship.

The Napoli court want to see more on this case but I'll fade away juts like Inter/Milan's... dubious financial deals.

about the letter, it's a f*cking letter that will go to the trash bin. Riots, threatening to leave the championship and putting the Primavera squad on the pitch would at least make some kind of point.
I think back in 60s Inter did that against Juve and we ended up beating them 9-0 with Sivori scoring 6 goals lol

    Just for the record...

Obviously I'm pissed because they are doing this to our team but seriously if they were doing it to Roma, or Milan, or Inter it would irritate me because if nothing else it is killing the credibility of a once beutiful league.

    It's worse than boxing.

Juve's open letter to FA: 'Enough!'
    Sunday 24 February, 2008

Juventus have written an open letter to the FIGC and Referees’ Association demanding action to stop the club being “made to pay” for Calciopoli.

The Bianconeri were furious after last night’s 2-1 defeat at Reggina, in which there were two clear penalties not awarded before a stoppage-time spot-kick gave the Amaranto the win.

Now they have taken further action by writing an open letter to the Federation and the AIA – Referees’ Association – signed by President Giovanni Cobolli Gigli and general manager Jean-Claude Blanc.

“The repetition of such serious errors forces us to ask for the intervention of the Federation to guarantee the regularity of this campaign, protecting the work and professionalism of the players, Coach and directors of Juventus.”

One of the theories put forward openly in this letter is that referees are giving decisions against Juve to continue ‘punishing’ them for the Calciopoli scandal.

This was the first time this season that referee Paolo Dondarini had been assigned to officiate a Juventus match, as he was one of the figures accused – and cleared – in the trial last year.

“Some decisions by the referees are confirming the doubts raised by more than a few people – that there is not a relaxed and adequate approach towards Juventus considering the serious and professional way the club and team are behaving.

“What is certain is that Juventus cannot keep paying for something they have already paid an extremely severe price.

“The club is lifting itself back up from that thanks to the passion of its fans, who legitimately ask for respect.”

The Bianconeri were demoted to Serie B and stripped of two Scudetto titles in the Calciopoli scandal.

Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that Cristiano Zanetti is handed a two-match ban for his dismissal against Reggina.

The midfielder saw red in stoppages for kicking out at Nicola Amoruso.

giving cards out after blowing the final whistle is stupid IMO! it's the END of the game! if there's more foul play afte the whistle, let the FA take the decision... it's as good as giving a card before kickoff itself!

Actually, that part I actually agree with. Just because the whistle is blown, it doesn't mean players can start a melee at the end of the match. I mean, remember Inter and Valencia in the CL last time?

Reggina Ref To Be Suspended For Two Months

Paolo Dondarini, the referee at the centre of the controversy at Reggina on Saturday night, is set to be suspended from duty for two months, according to the Gazzetta dello Sport.

Dondarini has been widely condemned throughout the peninsula for a shocking display at the Stadio Granillo.

The official denied Juventus two clear penalties, awarded Reggina a debatable spot-kick, while his overall management of the game was also perceived as clearly siding with the home side.

The Gazzetta says that as punishment Dondarini will be suspended for two months, and when he returns from his ban, he will be demoted to officiate matches in Serie B.

There was a similar sentence handed out to Mauro Bergonzi after the hugely controversial Napoli – Juventus clash last October. In that game Bergonzi awarded the Partenopei two scandalous penalties as they inflicted a 3-1 defeat on the Bianconeri.

The situation with referees in Serie A is fast descending into something of a crisis, and there are increasing calls that the federation should turn to foreign officials to help out at this delicate moment.

I guess they lit flares in protest. I've never seen a game without flares but whatever.

On the Mediaset soccer shows last night Juventus were criiticized for protesting (we should just take it and like it) and now fans are calling for a hault to the league to allow for an investigation.

This isn't enough! This happened before, and they banned the other referee for weeks too, what about us? What about the points cost us? They have to investigate if the referee had any connection with any party to make these decisions, and if the decisions were 100% wrong without any doubt, then the match should be played, I know it is not easy to do these, I mean to rematch on every error, but this is what you can do with this refereeing system, they should introduce the technology to this game, enough is enough! This will save all the speech and the connection of the "Dark Forces" of football. But it's Italy, no one wants to keep the game clean! This is not about gsol's conspiracies of Anti-Juve crap, it's the rights of the small and weak teams in Italian football.
