that will be the association of swedish zlatan fans who jumped ship to inter then
Lol, not in this case because this number is about the fans in Italy.

But even though you're just joking, you're actually right about our fan base world wide. We indeed lost a big number of "fans" due to Zlatan's departure. He's one of those players who bring a lot of fans with him wherever he goes.
Mutu was another one very popular in Romania and we probably lost few million Romanian "fans".

Even though the real fans don't like these fake fans, they are useful for club's finances. If we lost 1.5m fans in Italy and probably another 5.5 million Zlatan, Mutu, Vieira, Cannavaro fans worldwide then we also lost a lot of money.
Imagine all 7 million of them spending 50 euros per year on Juve products. Even if only 10 euros out of these 50 euros go into our budget it gives a number of 70m eur per year.

That's why I increased my spending this year. I already stated I don't really know the accuracy of these counts but didn't Juve have 13 million in Italy? Oh well, who cares. Whoever jumped ship can drown. Those that come back will do so soon enough and I'll be the guy that says "thanks for the money" and then spits at them.

you are right i was joking, but the point is still valid. we seen a massive increase in forum members when we signed zlatan.....though most of them were about as use as turk as a pacifist rally. when he went to inter most(thankfully) left and a few come back to get abuse.

Juve count Calciopoli cost Monday 11 February, 2008

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A survey in the peninsula has revealed that Juventus have lost over a million fans as a result of the Calciopoli scandal.

The Old Lady remain by far and away Italy’s most supported side with an estimated fan base of just over seven million.

However, a survey conducted by Stage Up / Ipsos and printed in the Guerin Sportivo states that nearly 1.5m supporters jumped ship during the 2006-07 campaign in Serie B.
The biggest beneficiaries of Juve’s spell in Purgatory were world champions Milan whose support swelled by 33 per cent to around 4.8 million.

Despite reigning supreme in Serie A, Inter have enjoyed a growth of just 14 per cent to a total of around 4.3 million.

The research indicated that Fiorentina and Palermo are attracting a greater number of fans, but Roma and Lazio’s tifosi have shrunk
sounds like its 1.5 million "supporters" that we didnt need anyways...

Yea, he is going to get us relegated.
hey idiot, wipe RUINeri's man-juice off your face, you look ridiculous :p

Farina admits Catania clanger Monday 11 February, 2008

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Referee Stefano Farina admits he was wrong to allow Esteban Cambiasso’s goal for Inter last night and explains why he skipped the ‘terzo tempo’.

Inter’s first goal in a 2-0 win over Catania at the Stadio Massimino was allowed to stand even though Cambiasso was in an offside position.

The Sicilian fans reacted by ironically cheering and chanting at referee Farina, who is now willing to concede that he made the wrong decision.

“Just now I have seen the Cambiasso goal on TV for the first time and I have no problem saying that I made a mistake,” the respected official said on Rai.

After the game, Farina made another error when he left the field without waiting for the ‘terzo tempo’ ceremony that sees players and officials shake hands and is compulsory for referees.

“With hindsight, I don’t think that it was the wisest decision, but at that moment I thought it was right to behave like that,” Farina said.

“I share the desire for Fair Play as all referees are obliged to but straight after the final whistle I thought that I didn’t want to cause any further controversy by being there, so I left the pitch early.”Referee designator Pierluigi Collina also passed comment on last night’s events and restated his request for patience in the current crop of referees.

“It’s clear that our objective is to improve,” he maintained. “The group of referees is young and it’s only natural that there will be some mistakes, but I’m certain that with sacrifice and work things will get better.”

And what will happen now?Nothing...What will happen next weekend?Inter will score again from offside or non-existing penalty.
Then some ref will say "Man I wrong but oh well :cough: at least I got some money from Inter :cough:" and they will win the scudeto.

Enough with Collina's bullshit already. I saw most of those referees long ago. What Rosetti, Paparesta, Morganti, Ayroldi, and Farina are all new? They keep acting like it's their rookie season. No one is born an official. They pass exams and officiate in the lower leagues and then are brought up to the top flight. Most of those referees (and linesmen like Coppelli) were brought up a long time ago.

    Damn ! You're probably right
And the number of Milan fans suddenly increased. There's only one explaination for that : Emerson
He was always a magnet for women.
    man,life is unfair...
women always chose the wealthy CL winners,
instead of the poor serie b champs :pumpkin:

    Have you seen Emo's smile??
