I think that was a penalty Jack, and also the goal they scored was a clear offside, thou I still relate that to refereeing human mistakes, and nothing more than that.

Their goal was not offside but we scored also a goal that was not offside. Chiellini did not deserve a penalty, he fell all by himself. The penalty awarded to Del Piero was a clean interception. But as you said, these are all refereeing mistakes that everyone got used to in Italy. Then again it is all good so gsol can have something to live for.

If u r referring to DP's try, he didnt scored that goal actually...
The penalty wasnt a penalty as their defender touched the ball before DP,
but it was really hard for the ref to see that and DP has been abused by Catania defenders during the whole game.
The ref tried not to show any red cards and intimidated with yellow cards all the fierce taclins off target. I dont think he had ill intentions.
The yellow card on Chiellini was his worst call, that should be the other way.
As about their goal being offside, i think not, it wasnt offside, Molinaro kept their forward on game being in the same distance to the goal as him,
this year linesmen in Italy were ordered to give the advantage at attackers, at similar cases
(inzaghi must be jubilant)

I totally agree and yes I was referring to Del Piero's try. I know he didn't score but he shot after he heard the whistle.

our penalty is penalty, their goal is offside, last game was robbery again.catania's gk should be sent off and it would be penalty for us in first half.
You can maybe call it a robery Turk, but it certainly wasn't with a purpose.
If the ref and his assistants really wanted to rob us yesterday they would have never given such a soft PK in last minute of the game.

The assistants made two mistakes with the offside calls and both were very easy to make. At the time when Mascara touched the ball Spinesi was offside only with his hand and only few cm with his leg. It was practically impossible for the linesman to know if it was offside or not. The only thing i don't understand is why didn't he call it offside, because in such situations, when it's a 50-50 call, refs usually call it offside, just like the other linesman did in Del Piero's case few minutes later.

Those were human mistakes, like Snoop said, nothing planned before the match, imo.

I agree with Lion. Jack what game did you watch. Do you need links to replays? Del Piero's penalty was legit since the sgambettata happened before the contact with the ball and the goal Spinesi scored was offside. Ya it was close...but as usual in close call scenarios...the call went against Juve.

I just hope you won't suffer any heart problems because the way you react is not really healthy.

I don't know what sgambettata is thus I will not comment more than that the defender reached the ball before he reached Del Piero.

Why would you like him back ?
He'll start talking to you about Ikinci Abdulhamit and his Kurds, about Ismail Enver pasha, about the Young Turks, about Teskilati Mahsusa and about Great Calamity and you'll start asking for the sweet Alen to come back !

After yesterday's offside goal and denied Chiellini penalty, does anyone else think Juve are still being punished?
    :agree: I do!

I didn't get a good view of what happened to Giorgio, I just saw him go down clutching his face. However soon after that, Tiago was pushed to the ground by a Catania player - that was Defo a PK. Also the ref was too lenient on the Catania players dirty fouls! I would have sent off at least 2 of them if I had been the ref - even if they were Juve players. The ref was FAR TOO SOFT with them! It was ridiculous that Giorgio got booked - he never moved! He was just standing there, when the Catania player turned and ran straight into him instead of around him!

Their goal looked very close to offside but the camera angle didn't help. It was borderline from the camera angle but when in line with the players from the touchline.....

    ....I reckon it was offside!

our penalty is penalty, their goal is offside, last game was robbery again.catania's gk should be sent off and it would be penalty for us in first half.
For the foul on Giorgio? Or the one on Tiago?

Jack sgambettata is a leg trip. Whatever he was reaching for is his knowledge and not ours but he made contact with DP's legs first.

Just did, I see a sgambettata and so did the ref and so did the commentators and analysts afterwards. "He reached" means shit. Look at what he touches.
