Is that really a modern European country we are talking about? What the hell is that? Even in Iran, this "backward third world uncivilized" piece of land nothing of that sort would happen, become publicized and yet remain unpunished.
Hoori raises some great points here. Not that any of us were deluded into believing that the judgements and penalties of 2006 were meant to deter bad behavior from clubs in the future. But the lesson here is "be guilty of roughly the same things, accuse first, throw a smokescreen on your own misdeeds, and let the clock work in your favor to clear you of any punishment".

That is the behavior the FIGC would encourage by burying these new facts.

Not sure if I should take that as a compliment...unless you think down of me because of it. Otherwise, thank you.

Somewhere, deep down I believe that someone over there will sooner or later make the right decision.

I'm sorry, I just can't find it in me to believe otherwise.
No, I honestly meant that as a compliment.

Which is why I remain hopeful. Whether it gets taken care of in Italy the right way or it goes to the EU courts where justice will be served the right way.

Don't know if you really mean it or it was just a sarcastic remark but it's always been the same for me. I love it how he cheers us up even when there is nothing to be excited about :D
Horri, there is always something to be excited about. I have been hoping for days like today. Let's say that Inter get the title taken away and it goes unassigned...that alone is justice, albeit not what we all hoped for but at least it "should" give the club hope to fight for what is right. If that title can go down as unassigned because they didn't deserve it than you better believe that there is something bigger out there that we can hope for.

Did you read gsol's post on page 580, Hus?

Because it clearly states that it is not Moggi who is guilty of fixing matches.
I know this. But if contacting the refs, etc like he did along WITH EVERYONE ELSE is illegal, then why shouldn't we hold a grudge against that? I know he said others did it "too", and probably more. I'm not necessarily pissed he did it per se, im pissed that others did it and they got away with it. Make sense?

It's not about doubting Moggi because it sounds like he did the same things as the rest.
Actually he did far less. According to Palazzi’s statement other teams violated article 6 and he never did. That is the difference between a misdemeanor and 1st degree murder. Unsportsmanlike conduct and cheating are weighed differently for a reason. One influences the outcomes of matches and seasons…the other only makes you an asshole.

If this is true GSOL, then I will admit 100% that I was wrong. Absolutely I will.

He didn't contact refs. He contacted designators and that was not illegal at all.

Who the fuck told you that contacting the refs back then was illegal?
