This shit better go down. No sweeping under the carpet bullshit. If you're gonna do something do it right if found guilty then pay the price like we wrongly did. Enough is enough! Too many people jumped on the band wagon against us and didnt wanna know what we had to say on the matter and now more shit is coming out people NOW wanna know. To hell with all this pussy footing around and end this Calciopoli once and for all. Sentence the ones who need to be sentenced and give back if anything is owed. And end this saga that has tarnished Italian football for so long.

Something needs to be clarified. This isn’t about dragging Inter through the mud and expecting our titles back.

This is about dismantling the only argument the league had left in favor of retaining the suspensions and revocations from 2006 which was that Moggi had an exclusive relationship with Bergamo. They had admitted log ago that the calls themselves did not contain incriminating evidence but the fact that ONLY Moggi could call Bergamo was unsportsmanlike and may have created an advantageous position. The fact that we now have proof that directors of other clubs (Moratti, Facchetti, Galliani, Cellino of Cagliari) etc. were also calling kills whatever weak argument the league had left. Moggi did not have an exclusive relationship with the designers so Moggi was essentially punished for nothing seeing as he was callig the same number many others were calling while never requesting anything illegal.

Now the mere presence of phone calls is not enough to punish anyone. Remember that it was not against the rules to call a designer. If however the calls reveal incriminating conversations (interfering with the assigning of referees or instructing the designer on how his referee should officiate a match) everything changes and yes punishments should occur.

Finally this also proves that the evidence used in 2006 was not total or impartial which alone could reverse the verdict or at the very least reopen the case.

“Sorteggio” is a random draw by the way.

Still...moratti and the other directors all lied in a court of law that saw Juve branded as cheaters and completely dragged through the mud. Now, why on earth would we not seek justice for that?

    You lie under oath....a crime.

    Thanks for the updates Gsol.

This was furiously debated years ago. That Moggi did not have an exclusive relationship, no Juventus matches were tampered, and the GEA and SIM card accusations were nonsense. The "conspiracy theorist" have proven to be right on 3 of the 4.

I just hope this stuff doesn't take long in courts. (which probably will)

The new guilty parties will certainly appeal.

Settlement Reached Between Luciano Moggi & Inter's Massimo Moratti Over Defamation Case - Report

Both men have agreed to drop libel cases against each other in a court settlement...

Luciano Moggi and Massimo Moratti have reached a court settlement in relation to a Calciopoli-related defamation case.

La Repubblica reports Moggi's and Moratti's lawyers reached the settlement before Judge Aldo Scivicco in the court of Rome at a hearing on Thursday.

Moratti had accused Moggi of libel following an interview the former Juventus man gave La Repubblica on July 17, 2006 amid the Calciopoli scandal. Words published by the paper were considered defamatory by Moratti, who launched legal proceedings against the former director.

But the court heard how, in 2007, Moratti had given L'Espresso an interview in which he allegedly made defamatory statements against Moggi, who then began proceedings to sue Moratti for €4 million.

However, rather than proceed with both cases, the two parties have settled to drop the charges. Thus the court heard Moggi was willing to drop his lawsuit against Inter, if Moratti dropped his.

Judge Scivacco closed the case following a settlement between the legal teams.

Everyone who follows calcio is or at least should be interested in these proceedings, that's kind of a given. I wonder though if non-football fans are following this as closely as we are? Gsol, you might be able to answer this. Just how many are following this with interest from say a legal/judicial standpoint?

Do you guys think that they would have sent us in Serie C or even D if Moggi said(in any context because they never bothered to look if he was joking and sh*t) to a ref designator:

    We need 10 consecutive results(positive/wins)

Juve's been sent down for less than that.
