Hey guys. I just thought I’d throw out a teaser regarding the discovery of Inter phone calls. Remember that Moggi and Bergamo were accused of handpicking referees in Serie A but were found not guilty after it was proven that referees were assigned to matches by random draw in the presence of officials and media? Well the Coppa Italia is a bit different. For the Coppa referees are simply selected by the designers at will.

Why do we care?

On the 10th of January 2005 at 12:20 referee designer Bergamo and Massimo Moratti discussed the prospect of having referee Gabriele officiate the upcoming Coppa Italia match between Bologna-Inter on the 13th of January. The game would end 3-1 for Inter and Inter would go on to win the Coppa Italia. Some may recall the immense controversies regarding that tournament (i.e. handball goals allowed to stand in the Inter-Cagliari semifinal etc). This revelation now casts a major shadow over the tournament.

Don’t ask where it came from because I’m not saying. Don’t want to believe it? Don’t care. It will all be public soon enough anyway.

On a side note I still find it very funny that people make comments like “Moggi was a crook and we all know that” when they can’t find a single legitimate accusation that stuck to him in actual court. When you insist on saying stupid things at least speak for yourself and not the rest of us.

I don't really get it. Lazio and ViolaMerda were busted for match fixing and still they were not send to Serie B, while Juventus was, despite that Moggi didn't "fix" any result (game)

Moggi spoke about Morratti and he said that he should return that Scudetto. He said it's a moral duty and that he did make those phone calls.

April 13 is going to be a date when they include to the court the new wiretapping involving Moratti and Galliani so we'll see how that goes.

I can't wait for that.

Probably because it's not Juve who are on trial, just Moggi.

If Moggi wins this case, then Juve raised a new action, I would expect that to get a lot of publicity.

I don't trust him. Until he is proved innocent in courts I will keep that opinion (as its mine)...I don't speak for everyone but myself. Keep us updated, I love your posts.

Dopo le telefonate tra Bergamo e Facchetti , viene svelata ora, data e contenuto di una telefonata tra l'ex designatore Paolo Bergamo ed il patron dell'Inter Massimo Moratti. Il 10 gennaio 2005 ore 12.20 Bergamo chiama Moratti, e dopo i convenevoli il designatore comunica a Moratti che avrebbe pensato a Gabriele per l'Inter e Moratti risponde che va bene...
