Zanetti's example is different. If someone retires then they are not getting called up. Even if they did the excuse would be retirement and not injury. You can be retired from the NT and active for the club Denco. The whole point of this rule is to ensure that if a player skips out on teh NT due to injury that he is actually injured. He demonstrates that by being injured in either the previous or successive league game.

The punishment for fielding an illegal player is a 3-0 loss.

You are only debating this because you want to go against certain people at all costs.
Not for France you cannot, as the likes of Makele and I think Thuram are playing whether they like it or not.

I still think it is a stupid rule on too many levels.

Take vargas eg he went to peru and was not picked by the manager so how is that Catania;s fault.

I think catania are just using that as an excuse.

As for Semioli I dont see how the rules can say because he missed the previous game then he is excused as he played for Fiorentina.

If Fiorentina were punished then I can see Catania's point but they were rightfully not punished as if Semioli was really injured against Milan then Donadoni should not have called him up.

so what is punishment for this?
3 points to Catania and 3 goals against Inter.

If this happens do you know how many players would retire from their NT with pressure from their chairmen and managers?

What is the point in making a rule that they can never implement? It is not viable.

Denco shut the fuck up already. You think the rule is dumb? Welcome to the club. I do too. So what? It's there. The Semioli card is simple. His injury was believable because he missed the prior league game. Matrix was on the field both before and after the NT call up which raises the question of "avoiding duties" or "legitimate injury". That's why the rule exists.

Like I give a shit about French and English rules. You keep spinning around in circles to avoid saying the truth "ok I was wrong". Just try it for once. People might take you more seriously.

Since we’re still on this stupid topic I will state an opinion. I agree that the rule is dumb and that Inter shouldn’t pay for a mistake Materazzi made. I think he should be punished by the FIGC (not calling him up for the Euro or something). HOWEVER, so long as this rule exists it SHOULD be applied regardless of who sponsors what. I’m tired of rules being re-written for Inter. We saw it this year with the illegal contracts and again with the accounting fraud. For once I’d like to see them punished according to the rules that dictate the league. It won’t happen though so change the subject already.

No doubt...But he will say everything against u...So if u are going to say Juve is the best club in the world, he will probably argue with you...
He is calling him self a "great debater", but he is insulting every one who disagrees with him...

A great debater isn't someone who can turn a phrase. It is a person who can back up a statement with something concrete. If in the end a person is at the wrong end of an argument, no matter what linguistic capabilities he thinks he has...he is still wrong.

    I don't see it...so did he???
You shouldn't see it because it is not of your concern to see other's warnings. The next time you receive a warning take it with the moderator that warned you via PM. You probably receive a PM for a reason. If every member will complain about a card, the forum will be full of infraction discussions.

Pingo only the mods and the member who recieved the red card can see it. So drop it now.
Denco got a red card from me and you got it from some other mod. Anyone who goes off topic and insults other members during the process will get a red card and even a direct ban if needed.

It's nice to have some infractions from time to time. It just shows that somebody does read your posts...

Ignore it and go on.

Crucial in the world cup. Come out of the closet already. He scored against Czech then got himself sent off against Australia forcing the team down to 10 men. Then he scored in the final but only after causing a penalty. He played what 3 out of 7 games? Ya crucial. Next you'll tell me Inzaghi's goal was the turning point.
He did play a huge part in the World Cup win for us. Being honest, I don't even think that the foul he committed on Malouda (?) in the final should have been awarded as there was hardly any contact.

    Sentite l'ultimo Moggi:

Can anyone translate this article clearlly plz.......

I agree the foul was light but the whole tournament was like that. Referees where calling everything and he should have known that even minimal contact would have given the ref the option. In the end he scored but only after causing the penalty. There is a reason why FIFA and UEFA didn't give him honours like they did Cannavaro.

He criticized Totti for his recent claims that Inter are favored the way Juve were. He says "Dear Totti - le wire taps didn't prove that such a thing was true and actually showed the opposite. I'll add that if the 100,000 calls would have been properly analyzed in a 360 degree manner that today we would surely have a totaly different view of things. Then he throws in a comment of the Rolex watches that Sensi gave all the referees and linesmen just to "exemplify".

Well done. Someone needs to shut that bitch up. I would have added a remark about Nakata as well.
