first of all, yes moreno is just a human being unfortunately, but isnt it quite the obvious the 'mistakes' he made was quite intentional

second of all, if you weren't supporting your heart out for italy in that match you wouldn't understand why we cant just 'let it go'. its the kind of thing thats planted in your brain memory.

The whole refree situation in the WC 2002 was bizarre. It was a really strange game between Italy and Korea and yes, some blame is on the italians themself BUT look at the next game Korea played and you know what I'm talking about. Spain also had a goal in at the end of the game that the refree disallowed for offside (or something) but it was a goal. And there were other things that was strange in that game.

I know I'm gonna get yelled at but I do think that there was something weird going on......

Yup Italy were shit! The only weird thing going on was Alessandro starting:cool:

The spain match no doubt was in the hands of the underworld. Still who can forget Rivaldos perfomance against Turkey:D

i DO think its intentional.
anyway my opinion doesn't matter, what's done has been done, and I'm still gonna hate the guy for the rest of my existence :)
sorry sally but i completely disagree,i have never seen an italian supporter who ever admited that his team played crap, his excuses always are:
1.the most used excuse of course,THE REFEREE
2.or they say the match was won by Luck

sorry if i offended anyone but thats how i always see Italian supporters like.

Moreno was imcompetent on the day but so was Trapatoni

The goal he disallowed was not a goal because the south Korean had stopped playing and the goal keeper made no attempt to stop it so u can hardly say , he disallowed the goal

The player was not offside , I grant you that but lets be honest here it was Tomassi going thru, so we cannot say he would have scored if the south Koreans kept on playing as Gatusso had a similar chance but fluffed it

Totti's red card was harsh but Totti does dive in SerieA and gets away with it so you have to blame the Italian referees a bit for letting him get away with such silly behaviour and not give him a second yellow.

I do not think he dived but he fell down way too easily, still not ayellow card but like I said its part of his makeup becos in SerieA , he is allowed to get away with it

Not Moreno's fault that Vieri missed from 3 yards

Not Moreno's fault that Panucci is so imcompetent

Not Moreno's fault that nowadays everyone outjumps Maldini

Not Moreno's fault that we are 1 year and more later discussing a referee who has gained celebrity status for being incredibly imcompetent

Hey, Denco.

You know how us Italians can be. Asking us to take accountability for our own actions, or lack thereof, is a little much to ask.:D

I t5hink that the referee in the Korea - Spain game was even worst that Byron.

That referral decisitons were very shamefull.

I know Italy did play like crap and Trap made some bad choices, never denied that, but like I said Moreno did make some bad decisions and the referee/linesmen were against spain against korea too, that just adds up

I admit I am a loser in this case :D
