its not about errors but about taking opportunities. It is only an obvious error if someone is there to make it look like it is. Trez does that and so much more, because defenders are awrae of his presence they have less time to make desision so de facto make errors. He makes them err.....

blimme isn't it obvious that he scores goals that others don't.

Pele, Maradona, di stefano all sored goals that were made by their shear being in the right place at the right time.

Watch DV and you can see that it isn't thAT EASY TO BE ON THE END OF THE BALL AND PUT IT INTO THE NET.

Zlaza can't do that.

Yeah, but they got to the right place at the right time by dribbling the ball through 7 defenders :D

Comparing with Di Vaio isn't fair, his finishing has been amongst the worst i've seen in recent times

I wasn't saying Zlatan would score more goals than Trezeguet, but I want a player who can make opportunities and split open defences. Okay, given a situation where we're on the counterattack, and a long ball is hoofed up to a forward who's all by himself with 3 defenders closing in fast... who would you rather have in that situation: Zlatan or Trez?

Actually, I'd prefer Trez in that situation, Graham, because Zlatan will try to dribble his way through the defence. He'll get passed two of the three defenders but then be dispossessed while trying to repeatedly nutmeg the last defender. Trez on the other hand would get tackled by the first defender, therefore both Zlatan and Trez give you the same result, but Trez is faster.

but there's still a chance that zlatan might get past that third defender, while trez is as good as a fish on land when it comes to dribbling.

No way trez would drible in that situation. He can't, we all know that. Zlatan will try and has a chance of geting past them.
In case you didn't realise, I was just joking :)

Btw guys, my school is in the finals of the U-16 school footie competition and we're playing at the national stadium today, so wish me luck.

I somehow think that Trez will be missed if we sell him!
I also think that he will net the important goals from now to the end of the season that will keep us in second place
