What is ironic here is that, if Im not mistaken, all the Americans in this forum will vote for Bush
That's a good point.

Any Americans around who'd vote for the other candidate?

And our votes are the ones that count, boys and girls..............
Then maybe some Americans need to start acting like it. That's not having a go at you or any other member in particular btw

Well, than I guess that SOME members need to keep their opinions about others countries, and leaders to themselves......

Interesting point. I'm not sure if they're all douing it in some sort of patriotic stance to defy what the rest of the world is thinking or if everyone from america on here supports bush. Its 55/49 to Kerry in the US according to the latest poll i thought!

Its different when it comes to voter turnout, and thats what will pretty much put it in favour of Bush. Especially in the key states.

This reminds me of a famous bushism :

Journalist : "Mr Bush, can you name the new PM of India?"

Bush : "Yes, the new PM of India is...errr...no I can't name him. But can you name the new Foreign Minister of Mexico?"

Journalist : "No, but Im not running for the presidency"
it was also him who didn't know musharraf, right? talk about international relations.

I just have a feeling that Bush is probably gonna have a narrow win. Don't blame me for not liking Bush, I was an avid supporter of Al Gore.

since there isn't another choise which should be "I don't give a fvck about the elections" and if i were american citizen i would vote for kerry.that's because Bush abuses the religion.he shows to people like he is a religous man, but i don't think he is.and he has rules about abortion etc.. I don't like that either.

    55/49 equals 100?

Who do you do financials for, the Mafia?:D:D

And from what I gather here, not all us Americans on this forum are voting for Bush. Even the ones whom you would suspect that would be. Some of us might be throwing smokescreens, because its really nobody else's business who they are voting for.

George W. Bush has taken the 'security' measure of blocking all non US ip addresses from accessing his re election website.

    His website

    The news

International access to the official re-election website of Us President George W. Bush (www.georgewbush.com) has been blocked. Surfers from outside the US trying to reach the site receive an "access denied" message.

Netcraft reports that the site, hosted at SmarTech Corporation, began using the Akamai content distribution network to manage traffic on 21 October. The move followed a six hour outage on 19 October, which also the official site of the Republican National Committee. Neither organisation gave reasons for the outage.

Since Monday morning (25 October) GeorgeWBush.com began rejecting web requests from outside the United States, Netcraft reports. Those outside America can only reach the site through US based proxies (such as proxify.com) but not through European proxies, Reg readers report.

As a security measure this doesn't make an awful lot of sense but the move does mean soldiers and other Americans abroad can't reach the re-election website. A number of reports (such as this by news agency AFP) suggest the site was inaccessible yesterday because of an attack by hackers but this would seem to be a misinterpretation of the site's newly-instigated isolationist policy. GeorgeWBush.com is built on Microsoft's Internet Information Server web server platform.

Your right, the question asked was - who is the military leader of Pakistan ? And that's the answer he dint know. Anyway, i doubt he knew the Indian PM by name back then.

I'm voting for a political president, not a self-proclaimed prophet. So let's just say that I didn't vote for Bush to be my personal vessle of the Christian Right's idea of God in 2000, and I likely won't in 2004. We already had another Texan in David Koresh for that, and we all know how that turned out.

I second that Sergio. Also, some members here might be defending Bush in a way to counter the Anti-American sediment that is ever present in the forums. Maybe like Tom said a bit of Patriotism, but still people should keep their noses out of other people's business.
