Interesting...well, we can get a good look at Burdisso playing for Argentina in the Copa America right now. I like Barzagli, but if we are buying a Palermo defender, let's thank God it's not Zaccardo...!!!

i think Zaccardo is a rather good player...better than Zebina to say the least..but he isnt needed..you have far too many players who can play rightback.

There's no way Moratti would ever sell Burdisso to us. I think he has learned his lesson after Cannavaro. If that trade were to happen tho, Juve would have one of the toughest defence in Serie A. Barzagli would be nice to have too, but like someone else just said, he makes way too many mistakes.

Also Zebina is way better than Zaccardo. Too bad Zebina is so underated. Glad Juve resigned him.

Thank goodness Zaccardo doesn't come into it for us, but in his defence, I will say he is good enough for most Serie A games...it's at top level he fails & that's no good to us for Champs. Lge! As for Barzagli v Burdisso we all seem evenly divided if you look round the posts between the 2 threads...anyway, even if you & I agree on Barzagli, its down to how hard Signor Claudio pushes our board to buy him, & how persuasive they are prepared to be, given that Palermo are apparently none too happy about the whole affair.

no way! zebina is far better than zaccardo, i havnt seen zaccardo have a good game since he was at bologna, zebina on a good day is quite fantastic and really can attack a flank

I think Zaccordo is maybe slightly better than Zebina, but not enough to justify paying for him just now.

I agree on both accounts.

Although Zebina has started to change my opinion on him, maybe its just because he stuck with us, and didn't really complain about B. But he is tooooo fragile damn it!!

About Burdisso, I'd just take him to see Moratti's face when he scores on two headers vs Inter but nobody can guarantee me a "Canna bis" so I guess we'll be stuck with Barzagli.
