Being stuck with the likes of Fatbry and Sané makes you miss and appreciate these two even more. Until we find truly world class wingers we won't be able to win the CL again as I see it. You won't see this ability to connect between the likes of those, else it would've happened long time ago.

Sane has moments of magic, but he's so inconsistent that it's not worth it any longer and Gnabry is just a total waste, he's still living of that fluke season in 19-20. Coman is good, but also inconsistent and highly injury prone. No wonder we're trying to offload them, but Brazzo gave Gnabry a big fat contract which he has no desire to end. So he'll milk everything he can out of the club and then leave on a free in 2026.

Goretzka seems to have this mindset too, even though he's out of favour and was so under Tuchel as well.

Posting shit like this in a Juve form reeks of privilege. Read the room dude. We have Weah.

I was about to say, Sane would be a dream for us.

This is the wing rotation for Bayern: Musiala (or AMC), Sane, Gnabry, Coman, Olise, Mathys Tel (or CF), Bryan Zaragoza.

And he is crying about it. Since we freezing out Chiesa and Kostic, have only Weah and Yildiz right now.

He would until you actually have him on your team for a long period of time. Guy is either world class on his day or the biggest flop to ever walk a pitch.

When he's good he's outstanding, but when not he's hopeless. And yeah, we did sign Olise who might turn into something great.

But my point still stands though. Gnabry, Sané and Coman will never come close to Robbery. There's a reason Bayern were such a machine during the 10's.

You're more than welcome to take Sané and Gnabry.

Looking forward to see this guy in action. And if we manage to get Desire Doue then it might not be too shabby..

And my apology if I offended people yesterday, wasn't the intention at all :) You as a fan do get entitled after all those years...

Seriously. Sane is definitely inconsistent and frustrating, but is still a good player.

Gnabry was awesome in their sextuple season with some quality seasons around that, and is still a capable goal scorer off the bench when healthy. That season alone should solidify his place in Bayern history.

Imagine being disappointed and feeling nostalgic while having the likes of Kane, Sane, Olise, Musiala, Tel, Gnabry, Coman, and Muller as attacking options. Hell, if someone like Irankunda was at Juve NextGen, our fans would be creaming themselves at his potential and would be calling him the long term savior to our attack with Yildiz, who didnt sniff Bayern's senior team before coming here.

No one wants to hear about "problems" like this when Timothy Weah is a starter for us right now lol.

What's next, will a City fan be posting in the EPL thread how short handed and screwed they are now that Alvarez is leaving for Atletico? What ever will they do to overcome that?

Leverkusen do it again.

I was watching some of it, but not exactly paying attention. I just saw they were in big trouble. Then I saw Frimpong, Grimaldo, and Wirtz come off the bench and Leverkusen just took over from the point on, even a man down.

I'm shocked no one activated Frimpong's reported release clause. I think it was pretty reasonable and I remember reading he had interest in the PL. I assumed after last year he was gone, and then I just kind of forgot about him this summer and didnt see his name pop up in many rumors.

It was pretty good game, not like a friendly as super cups tend to be. Stuttgart had the advantage due to the silly red for Terrier. And then being forced to sub Boniface due to the red and Leverkusen having their best players on the bench (Tah, Wirtz, Schick, Frimpong, Grimaldo), Stuttgart was the more aggressive team for most of it.

But as you said it all changed when the big guns came on. I missed the extra time, but came back in time for the pk shootout. Poor Stuttgart, Silas and that blond Bayern kid weak shots decided it.

@Firestarter watching German Super cup between Leverkusen and Stuttgart. Terrier with lovely debute start, sent off after 30 mins after he tried to maim Demirovic lol
Nice — I didn't catch this game. Was watching Villa-West Ham to get some cardio done earlier

Saw that Millot scored he's hella underrated. Shicky always clutch with the late late goals

What an incredible poster. Reminded me of absolute GOAT of sport posters: Pride FC.
Very nice. Historical I like RIZIN posters the best though.

He's great but very much a system player I reckon. You need to play three at the back to get the best performance out of him.
I'm glad Leverkusen have managed to keep the core of their team so far

For sure. He's definitely in that attacking wingback mold, but with how fluid some systems are, I'm just surprised someone didnt see his talent and think they could find a way to use him.

I thought they'd come back down to earth this season with all of their last minute/second goals last year to win or tie games late, but if today was any indication, there is still plenty of good fortune on their side moving forward.

No extra time. It just goes straight to penalties.

That explains why I was so confused how I could missed the extra time lol, when I only switched to the Milan game for short period lol

i have no information about the amount and didn't follow rumors about frimpong, so just a general remark: release clauses usually must be paid in one single installment which might be quite a burden even for pl clubs. cash flow is limited for them too, especially if a team is doing a busy mercato. even man.utd, an easy top5 team for the majority of the last 20+ years when it comes to revenue, paid more than zirkzee's release clause just to avoid paying the transfer fee all at once.

Yeah "shocked" was a big of an exaggeration and wrong wording anyway.

I just thought from the rumors I read back in April/May about him having interest joining the PL, that there would have been some kind of interest or buzz in him. I just almost forgot about him because I didnt read any buzz on him all summer.

Maybe there was some and I missed it, or maybe his interest in leaving was exaggerated.

Respect to this legend. I'd still take a 38 year old Neuer over ter Stegen every day until proven otherwise.

Neuer, Kroos, and Muller all done. Officially the end of an era.
