Nuri Sahin? Haven't heard the name in ages, but already a coach? I thought he's still playing if anything.

Lol he was one of the assistants/coaches last season. You'd think they'd consider de zerbi but even they didn't want that overrated turd

He already managed Antalyaspor before. This was always inevitable if you follow BuLi tbh

Bayern reportedly close to Calhanoglu too. But according to our local bitching expert he’s trash and nobody ever wanted him.

Never seen him play but how could a winger from CP with similar stats to Chiesa be worth 60M and our player rumoured to be 1/3th of that.

Grandpa Neuer on 21 million is insane.
Probably. And his mistake vs Real Madrid probably cost them the game and a chance to win the Champions League.

But he was absolutely spectacular in general vs Real Madrid and they would have gotten blown out if it wasnt for him if he didnt make 3 or 4 spectacular saves before that mistake --- not to mention he was again very good for Germany in the Euros (with his late save vs Switzerland especially standing out to me).

He may be overpaid and past his prime, but he's still very good. If Buffon was overpaid his final years with Juve, no one would care, because he had an amazing career for the club and was still good, even if not in his prime anymore.

Of that list, Neuer's wages are amongst the least offensive. Muller (although that feels iike more of a thank you and goodbye to a club legend type contract), Goretzka, and Gnsbry stand out as being the worst. Sane is also massively overpaid, but he's also probably their best winger and still a quality player.

Yeah there are a lot of older guys there on silly money. But those are decisions made years ago when they were in their prime, it happens to all clubs.

Having so many high salaries is insane.
How many of those were handed out after they won every trophy possible in dominant fashion and those players were performing at high levels while in their prime years?

I'd imagine Kimmich (who I still think is very good), Gnabry, Goretzka, and Coman were --- with Sane coming over from City right around that time too.

They're all defendable contracts at the time, that just didnt age well.

bayern is a top5-top6 club when it comes to revenue without player sales. it's only natural that their players will earn a lot. and bundesliga only have 1 other club in the top20 so it's also normal that the highest earners belong to bayern

that said, most of that list is insane indeed. a few years ago peak müller, neuer or kimmich would have deserved those wages but now? or coman on 17m? prime paratici vibes
