Hahah, I never visit this thread :D Youtube algorithm is a funny thing, it just recommended it to me. Was fascinating watch despite its length.
Yeah it's a great documentary.

The 80's really set the tone for Bayern because of the two losses in the European Cup final against Aston Villa and Porto. Especially the first one should never have been a loss as we were the clear favorites.

Not to forget replacing some all time greats such as Franz Beckenbauer, Sepp Maier, Gerd Müller etc was a nearly impossible task as they all left Bayern in the late 70's. Breitner and KHR were still there but all those leaders leaving just meant it wasn't the same team anymore. Not to forget this guy who was always overshadowed by Beckenbauer.

As good as Kimmich is, boy do I miss this guy and his ability to read the game and make smooth ball winning tackles like no other. He gave our defense something we haven't seen since his retirement.
