We don't really know how good the German league is but Bayern are pretty damn good in Europe, they've been among the legitimate CL favourites for the last 10 years. Never the dark horses or media hyped team, simply legitimate favourites. The hype for Juve and Man City each year are certainly not because of CL performances.
