Didn't say it was a good reason :D

I mean we were supposedly interested in Pep and Zizou, both who know Italian so I'm sure that's a part of it
It's kinda poor if your club is afraid to try managers from other countries just because of the language. At least try it first, if it's not a succes then you know what to do next time.

Reminds me of this.

There have always been many good managers to choose from in Italy too, so I guess there wasn't much of a need to look outside. But I'd like us to try a foreign coach who would bring some new ideas

Historically yes, but it's some time ago since Italy had a lot of good managers. Would be interesting to see Juve with a coach from abroad.

Allegri is the only one I'd say is a top manager these days. Conte is a good manager but nothing more to me. Ancelotti is washed up, Mancini is meh and Ranieri? Lol.
Well I mean they are good enough to have won the EPL

Which other nations have many top coaches? Germany seems to have a few these days but otherwise...

They're not really in the class of Lippi, Trapatonni, Capello etc when they were best.
Mancini is underrated imho

Italy have had good managers in recent years too. Allegri, Ancelotti, Mancini, Conte, even ones like Sarri and Gasperini in the right environment. 4 different Italian managers have won the Premier League in the last 11 years, for example.
