We are having it easier than Bayern? I'm sorry, but are you nuts? Napoli and Roma broke their all time point records, but still ended up behind us. Because we were even stronger than them. That just doesn't exist in the Bundesliga. Dortmund to some extent, but even they are unconstant as hell (and so is the entire top 5) and can't rack up so many points each year. Bayern really only can beat themselves.

Dortmund are not as stable, but they still win the Bundesliga on a regular basis and have a decent trophy cabinet to show. Napoli and Roma might be good, but they never really win anything, especially Napoli. As said, they're the Tottenham of Italy. in 2011 Dortmund won the Meisterschale, in 2012 the double and the year after played the CL final against us. Every decade they have a good run where they win something.

Another thing is Dortmund often lose/sell their best players. Until they start to sort this out/get rid of this mentality they won't be stable. They're a big club, should start act as one.

You can always discuss if Bayern or Juve have it easier these years, but I definitely don't see the difference being that big as some would make it. Napoli are more stable and consistent - yes. But Dortmund actually does win stuff here and then when it matters. But in the end, neither of Bayern or Juve have dominated with ease, they done so with hard work and determination.

Again it's not like we totally disagree, but to say Bayern have it very easy in the German league is kinda wrong - there was no sugar daddy to lift Bayern up to the standards they are on today, it's their own work.

Juventus have finished two seasons of their last 7 with around 20 pts ahead of their competition though. And everyone knows that Juventus are going to win Serie A for many years to come, they're superior to any team in the competition right now.

I would definitely prefer that as a Dortmund fan - because they win something unlike Roma and Napoli.

When Dortmund have a good run, they also at times manage to win back to back Bundesliga titles, did so in the mid 90's and 2011 and 2012 as well.

As mentioned in another post, they just have to get rid of the small club mentality they do show at times, and start acting like that big club they are.

Which ones, 13-14 and 14-15? One we set a record for points in top 5 leagues, and finished with 17pts over Roma. The race was open until about 4-5 last matchdays when they fell apart. They were on pace to break Milans record from 2006, most points by a 2nd placed team in serie a history, even after we beat them in Rome. 14-15 i agree was the worse competition wise in our tenure, a mediocre Roma was 2nd with 70pts. Napoli in Benitezs last season finished 5th, Milan and inter on their lowest low in this decade as both finished with under 50pts. But we also pulled "a Dortmund" in our 1st 2 seasons. Milan underperformed and we won the scudetto with "only" 82pts in 2012. That would be enough for 4th place in 16-17 for example.

In the BL last seasons, the competition doesent show up to Bayerns level, and it ends up with huge deficits in the end. If Dortmund won 80+pts every season since 2013, Bayern would still be champions, but it would have been far more competitive

Klopps Dortmund from 2011-2013 would have zero trophies vs Guardiolas Bayern, simply because their points total just wouldnt cut it. Yes its great ending up with the trophy, but thats not the indicator of competitiveness, especially when the top dog(s) underperform (example: Leicester in 2016). The same with us before the record breaking 2013 season. We wouldnt have won the scudetto vs Napoli or Roma of last 2 seasons. But we also won because Milan pulled "a Bayern" and won less than expected from them (age, injuries, fatigue played a big part too). We ourselves werent at our best before Tevez arrived. Since then we have set a standard and are keeping it. But these other clubs responded after they got stronger and end up challenging us every year

Pep did set a new standard for a Bayern coach. The only reasons the difference were so big, was thanks to him. With any other coach Bayern wouldnt have dominated that much, maybe bar Jupp in 2012-2013.

Pep set up a new system that BL clubs couldnt deal with, but it didnt work in Europe. When he is getting his team working, he’s able to dominate all Leagues pretty much, but on the KO stage he got problems.

Peps Bayern was not the standard if you look at it from an historic point of view. Take a look at the BL table from 2012 and back, even in the late 90’s or start 00’s Bayern won the title on the last match day, sometimes needed help from other teams. Just remember in 2001 when they won the title in the last seconds of the final game. It was standard for Bayern back in the day with that kinda drama.

Sure the BL is not competitive as it used to be, but it has to do with some of the factors mentioned above.
