thing is that we don't know shit yet. too many variables as of now: allegri/new coach, budget, dybala, pjanic, sandro, etc. my guess is that the overhaul (7-8 new players) might not happen, and to be honest, it shouldn't. football is a team sport, and building chemistry takes time and effort. allegri did it basically every single time for the last couple of years, and it's not an ideal scenario. we should bring 3-5 starting level key players in, keep our assets (especially pjanic), and that's all, either with allegri or with someone else.

Chiellini and Bonucci are 30's right now. Talk about midfield, midfield getting old.pjanic have been making mistakes lately .Costa can only play last minutes...and dybala who is having the worst season of his career and now Ronaldo's the only thing we've got.

I think we need a quality pure striker and Icardi is our best chance. Dybala needs to be free in that final third. As much as I think he may be good in the c.f. role I just think he will be able to run at players and do what he did last season when he was scoring for fun in a free role. Ronaldo will do what he does best. Midfield has a good mix in it.

I would sacrifice Bonucci (surely we can get some decent coin from someone), Caceres, Barzagli (retiring) in defense.

Forwards I would sacrifice Costa and Mandzukic. Plus Higuain sale.

Means we would need to spend big as De Ligt and NDombele.wpuld cost a lot and sacrifices listed would not cover those players at all. However Costa and Mandzukic plus Higuain would cover a lot of Chiesa and Icardi.
