Eriksen is an incredible player who deserves to win trophies. He’s also in his prime and the finished product, while still being fairly young.

Maybe. Personally I dont really like the fucker, too soft in my opinion.
Also not sure where he should play. It is not easy being a CAM in our team.

Would much rather spend big on a big solid beast for midfield. Pogba ideally, or Kante. But probably not available for us. Would have liked Allan here too, from the little I have seen from him, he could have been a good rotational player. Savic has the qualities we need too, but he is a bit of a risk.

There is still too long till the summer window. So many talents are hot now and by then they will already be forgotten.

It will be difficult for us to upgrade the mid next season. Who should start of those we got now? So many things can happen. Pjanic is up and down. He is not a super talent or gifted with amazing skills, he is quite limited in that regard, compared to a Pogba who is a machine. As he explained in his interview, then he does the simple things, and by being good at those he can be super important for the flow. But he has also been lazy and frustrating many times. If he can keep the level he has played on the last 2 games and improve a bit, then he will maintain his role for us, thats the Pjanic we thought we bought from Roma and the level we expect. But Bentancur is an incredible energetic player who can turn into one of the best in his role. He seems for the future definitely. Matuidi is right now pretty good in his role as LCM, but he might be the player who could get sacrificed (starting spot) if we are to reinforce our mid in the summer, which seems logical right now.

Kante/Pogba/Savic - Pjanic - Bentancur - Matuidi - Can ?

I would prefer playing with only 2 mids if we get one of those strong midfielders, and then we might need to offload one. In that case Can could leave as he will have a good resale value + is on an expensive contract. Else Pjanic for the same reasons and if he shows dips in form. But then tuz would melt down for sure.

How about Koulibali to rejuvenate the defence a tiny bit? Would he be attainable and worth it? He is a proper beast and could learn a few of the dirtiest trades from Chiellini before he retires. Would be a nightmare to play against
