Same was said about de Sciglio. Darmian belongs in Italy. Besides he’d be a backup.

Can is average so is torreria, they will make no differance, even if other clubs outbid us for savic, the world does not end with him, thier are other top players the club is able to sign such as goretkza, weigl or kovacic. Just because you fail to sign one good player, it does'nt mean you sign an average player.
We already have the versatile backup in MDS. That's what he was signed for. He isn't long-term starter mat'l.
What we need is a good starting RB. Unless Howedes stops getting injured, plays there, does very well, and we sign him.
Torreira and SMS are two diff types of CMs. Torreira is a regista, SMS is a B2B. We need a top B2B. Torreira isn't first priority.
What makes you so sure we can't sign two CMs? Emre would be a good, versatile backup, and he's young. Khedira can make way.
