http://www.voetbalkrant.com/ and other sources to follow in the next hours.

the fee is not known yet, but I think it's somewhere around 10M Euro.

The transfer has been confirmed by both clubs, and Vince will be presented in Hamburg later this afternoon.
This also means that Van Buyten should sign for Bayern in the next days (or hours).

Bonne chance Vincent, tu seras un grand :touched:

EDIT: following rumours, the deal would be the following:
8M now
+ 2M to be paid over a year
+ 2M if HSV qualfies for CL
+ 1Mif HSV win the Bundesliga
+ 20% of his next transfer

That will probably be a total of a bit more than 12 M Euro.

Well we knew he wouldn't stay with Anderlecht. I still think Lyon would have been better for him, but anyway good luck to him.

BTW Geof, do you know how reliable that site is? Cause a couple of days ago they said that Juve would be coming to Belgium and the Netherlands for their preseason training.

Lyon is "sexier" because of their recent Cl performances, but i rate HSV at the same level.
They're gonna fight for the title, they got a great stadium, a new sponsor (Fly Emirates $$$$$$$$$) and fantastic fans.
    I really hope they'll qualify

i read it too. it seems they'll play a game in Holland (roda I think), and possibly some games in Belgium (maybe Standard?). I don't think anything is decided yet

Yeah HSV is taking shape now. I already liked the city, this is a good development.

And Roda is in Kerkrade, practically Belgium so it makes sense Juve'd combine it with Standard.

I liked HSV, but I'm very dissapointing with the fact that they didin't extend contract with Sergej Barbarez. It's not because I'm from Bosnia and Sergej is Bosnian but it's because he was one of the best players at HSV and a true icon of the club. He did much for the club and al he wanted is to end career there...

Hamburger SV is a club with history. The only club that played in every Bundesliga Season, but except for last year the haven't been successfull for an long time. Right now they management is doing some good things. Van der Vaart and Kompany? Wow!

Great deal. They sell van Buyten to Bayern and get a great talent to replace him.

Yeah that's really great news. Another good buy which would suit them is J. Moutinho.

    Nice.

Bayern will get him in 2 years now.
True,Bayern is like the Chelsea of the Bundesliga in terms of transfers, its amazing how the other teams can't compete financially with Bayern.
