I finally got to watch the entire thing. WOW, what an ending, the whole show should have ended right there. I have no idea what will happen next season, I hope they don't stretch it silly.

I've heard that was the series finale rather than the season finale.

Greg, I agree about Saul being kick ass, he's as awesome as awesome can be. I really never liked Gus, I don't get the hype.

Gus is an unusual character for TV. That's why you gotta love him. Meticulous, low key, and totally not belying his ruthlessness and power.

And some of the historical stuff from Mexico from season 4 didn't hurt that.

So what are we expecting in Season 5?
I presume not. I heard them say they were ending it, and it plays out like it.

But maybe if they find an audience they might try to squeeze out another season. Like the movie Crank 2 tried to pull off undoing finality...

Everything that had to do with Gus and the Cartel was amazing but everything else was just annoying. I hated it that he never wanted to understand Walt's point of view.

I just read that the 5th season is on and it is 16 episode that might be aired in two seasons.

Have any of you seen the minisodes by the way?

Saul! :D

BTW, who here thinks Badger looks like Diego?
 Good one.

Why should he? He's a ruthless businessman.

Damn. How are they going to exhume this series now...

Blowfishin it UP Salvatore :)
Love how he casually reaches over to get high again :D

A robot?

Actually, I thought that moment where they "tricked" you into thinking Gus survived was not in character with the rest of the series and thus felt a bit fake and cheesy. But I understand why they did it in a finale.

As for whether Walt poisoned the kid or not, that was left open for debate. I still don't see how he had ready access to the kid, given that he almost had zero contact even with the kid's mother.
Looking back, you're right it doesn't really fit in with the show. And straightening his tie, seemed like they wanted to give him a grand send off. As I was sat watching the scene unfold, for a split second, the writers wanted to think that Gus is invincible. At the time it was quite dramatic for me anyway :D

In a previous episode there was a vigorous pat down of Jesse by that bulky bodyguard, and he appeared to take something from him. It had already been established that Saul had been in contact with the mother at least once, and it was probably in his own best interest that Gus was out of the picture.

Biggest thing for me is that when his family is involved (and in danger), Walt really doesn't seem to have any limits.

I don't know if any of you have seen this but its amazing. The guy who made/posted this video actually predicted that Walt was the one who poisoned Brock before the season finale!! He posted this vid on October 5th or something like that. Just watch and enjoy, its brilliant and spot on.

I wonder what happened to mike? Was he still in that shack resting or what?
I was talking to my buddy about Mike yesterday. I think he will return next season and find out that Gus and his operation is no more. This is where the story could go 2 ways.
1) He could either blackmail Walt into paying him ALOT of money or Mike (who still has strong ties with various law enforcement agencies since he was once a cop) will the law on Walt's ass.
2) Mike could set Walt up as the new "Gus"-- meaning the new & biggest meth supplier in not only the southwest but possibly North America.

Just my own speculation on what next season could possibly entail.

I also think Ted will play some major role in the next season as well.

I see what you're saying but I think Mike will start doing something with Jesse or be on his side because during the last season they spent sometime together and I feel like they bonded some so I dunno we'll have to see.

Good point

I found it really curious as to why Mike was completely left out of the last few episodes. They got some shit brewing for next season for sure :D

Vince Gillian is a genius
