So what, Walt protecting Jesse like a son over the past 3 seasons and yet he's evil now? I feel a stronger bond to Walt then any other character in this show - let his enemies die I want Walt and his family to prevail.
And please don't tell me either of Hank/Gomez are gonna come out of that shootout alive. It's 6 vs 2 and the Nazis are better equipped..
What exactly are they going to arrest Walt for, there is no way Hank lives. Walt is off the hook if Gomey and Hank die.

Either that or the gun fire stops once Gomey goes down and Walt manages to get heard and convinces the Nazi's to piss off and he will cook for them, saving Hank.

I just dont get why Walt would need a fake ID if Hank dies
Anyone else thinks Marie poisons someone by accident? Surely they didn't just mention that for no reason. Maybe one of the kids? It would be ironic after she thought she was going to keep them safe. Something happens at Hanks house I think.
yeah obviously vandals. and holy motherfucking shit. what a boss ending to that episode. jack is a badass! i don't see how hank and gomez aren't dead already from all that gunfire. dudes had machine guns lol
I have no idea why this is in quotes. Yeah, Gilligan was so speaking about himself. He is obviously a big Chekhov fan and that is a huge Chekhovian trait.

Meh. High on excitement, but I was a bit disappointed on the plot/character consistency.
That Walt would be so careless as to drive like a bat out of hell to the money, talking to Jesse on a phone that he knows is bugged, confessing to murders on the phone he knows is bugged... and then when encountering Hank and crew in the desert he just sort of gives up? This is not at all the Walt character I've been following for the past 5 years.
I think the writers did what they could under the circumstances. The idea of bluffing Walt with Jesse's call and a fake story about both the money and the GPS tracker on the van was solid. But Walt played the script well below his capabilities.
Huell also gave it up like a pure amateur for Saul's trusted bodyguard.
It's inconsistencies like these that disappoint me a bit. But they allow the plot to move along the way they want to.

he found out jesse and hank were working together when he saw them in the desert. that's why he was so disappointing and gave up because hurting hank wasn't worth it.

In both Huell's and Walts case I was surprised at how unlike their character they were portrayed. Especially in Walt's case.
Then there were those cliche moments where time is wasted for no damn reason when danger is looming. Hank and Gomez wasting time having useless exchanges of words; congratulating each other, Hank phoning home to 'celebrate'. Just enough time for the Aryan Brotherhood to roll up on them. Granted they weren't expecting anyone but they know Walt is smart & calculated and how it was too easy to draw him out to where he buried his money, how easily he confessed everything over the phone, how he gave himself up and let himself get arrested...they should have been taking every precaution and gotten the fuck out of there.
that's a bit of a stretch. hank needs a warrant to tap walter's phone, especially if he wants that evidence to be admissible in court. and so far walt think's he's got hank against the ropes with that video he made.
