No, still only some 50 pages into it. Wasn't able to read much the past few weeks.

Same here, last book I read was Pulp (Bukowski), really enjoyed it

I'm about 2/3 through, it's kinda long. Takes a while before things actually happen, stays in suspense a lot of the time which gets uninteresting at times but unpredictable plot. It's okay so far. My first S. King book, btw; just found it lying around.

Well, I was never really into horror moviest. But I'll check it one day when I clear the other stuff in queue.

The book is very different and much better. I wouldn't even bother with the movie.

Finished 'A Feast for Crows' yesterday. Took me a while, compared to how I burned through the first four books, at least, as I found it extremely dull for the most part and I've been reading other books simultaneously.

Those other books would be 'The Brothers Karamazov' and 'Pattern Recognition', both of which have been ridiculously enjoyable in comparison.

Finished 'A Feast for Crows' yesterday. Took me a while, compared to how I burned through the first four books, at least, as I found it extremely dull for the most part and I've been reading other books simultaneously.

That's unusual.

Too much political intrigue. But without the intrigue. Felt like too much filler and very few chapters, this time, ended in a way that made me feel like reading on to find out what would happen next (unlike previous books). So, even when there was a small amount of momentum going, it always fizzled out. Not good for a book that shifts perspective for large chunks at a time. The new characters introduced were rubbish.

Poor Cersei, though.
