The Kite Runner
by Khaled Hosseini
***** 5 stars

For those who love to read... You absolutely have to read this one!
Isabel Allende even said this:
"A wonderful work... This is one of those unforgettable stories that stay with you for years. All the great themes of literature and of life are the fabric of this extraordinary novel: love, honor, guilt, fear redemption...It is so powerful that for a long time everything I read after seemed bland."

At first, I was like: -Oh-Really?-
but, this book had offered more than I expected...
It made me cry and thought further about myself and the way i treated people, about life... There's sooo much valuable lesson u can get from this book...

Truly, believe me... :toast:

    Clive Cussler - Treasure
I read some Cussler a few years back - half a dozen of them in fact. I found them entertaining enough, but his English is a little weak and he outright refuses to write cursewords - making for some very amusing standoffs. They're pretty formulaic too - Pitt finds the treasure, saves the world and gets the girl.

Just finished Forza Italia, A journey in search of Italy and its football by Paddy Agnew. A fantastic insight into the world of Serie A.

    The Trial by Franz Kafka

I actually started reading this book some time ago but didn't finish it then. Now, after these preposterous verdicts were handed out by the FIGC, it caught my attention again, and I've now finished it. It was excellent.

It's about an innocent man, Josef K., who gets trialled by an irrational legal system.
