The defender has been handed a one-match suspension after picking up his fourth yellow card in Saturday’s 4-1 home success over Roma.
Alessandro Matri and Arturo Vidal were issued with their second bookings of the season against the Giallorossi.
Siena, meanwhile, will have a full complement of players at their disposal.
