I don't like this deal at all....we alredy have enough strikers and Mutu is way better than Bojinov,in my opinion, and he has been loyal to us.

This is a complete mistake.
that is our CURRENT situation, considering the imminent departure of Trezeguet, Ibra, I think we can make do with Bojinov.

He is potentially great but does have an attitude problem. He's young and had we bought him two years ago everybody would've jumped for joy. Can play a second striker role. As far as I see it our strikers are:
DP, Bojinov, Palladino

not a bad move, although its a shame to lose Mutu.

Bad move, because we didn't buy him,we own only 50% of him and Mutu is a way better and a loyal player!

Correction, we dont own Bojinov, he is here on loan, next year we have an option to buy 50% of him, so even then we will still dont own him.

That's even more worse..:pumpkin: :disagree:

I'm afraid of tha fact that we have so many valuable players, and this transfer and a possible relegation tells me that we might loose them very easily for a miserly amount.:scared:

ROME (Reuters) - Italian champions Juventus have sold Romanian striker Adrian Mutu to Fiorentina for 8 million euros (5.5 million pounds), the Turin club said in a statement on Monday.

"The sum is to be paid in three years," the statement added.

This deal is the most stupid deal done by Juve since a while back...

from the prices we are about to get(18mil for Buffon,1.5mil for Thuram,6.5 for vieira etc) its calculated we are going to become 60% weaker from our transfers only - 75% poorer from the lack of sponsorship = disaster
and the Agnelli's are reported that they wont invest on us,
maybe Ghedaffi will buy us in the end...:disagree:

I wanted Mutu to stay. IMO he could've been a very good player for us so rather than loaning Blasi, who let's face it isn't good enough for Juve, to Fiorentina, I would've sold Blasi to them as part of the Bojinov deal.

In conclusion I'm glad that Bojinov is coming but disappointed that we sold Mutu.

Well, considering that we aren't exactly negotiating from a position of strength, when you factor in that these players could leave for free if they wanted to, you have to take what you can get.

You have to hope that:

A) There are multiple suitors, thereby creating a bidding war

B) The players in question would be cooperative in the process, and allow Juve to at least get reasonable value for them.

While the sale of Mutu certainly sucks, Bojinov is still a fantastic young player and if our management is starting to filter in the youth, I'm very pleased. Too many fucking times have we let the Kaka's and Rosicky's of this world go, just for the reason of them having sickening names or not being "old" enough for the likings of that "Brutto Pela" talking on his cellphone. This is a new era for Juventus, and I believe this club should finally give the youth a chance.

There is no question Valeri has talent, as he can excel when given the opportunity to shine. Under Prandelli he was always second choice to Toni for understandable reasons, and the manager loved using Luca up top by himself. Deschamps usually likes to field two strikers, and if we are indeed thrown down to Serie B a Del Piero - Bojinov partnership looks absolutely mouthwatering. Give the kid a chance...afterall last year could have been nothing more than a sophomore slump. I already like him more than Ibrahimovic anyway..

But please, lets start this new era with an injection of YOUTH.
