Hella annoyed too, Jimmy was too awesome as a character, unless we get to see more of the chicago and new york crews, this show will now have too many of the wheeling and dealing crooks, and non of the straight up brutal gangsters.

    lol was so pissed I posted this on HBO's BE forum.

    Atlantic City just became Copout City!

    What a terrible end to the season! This is what should have transpired:

    - Horvitz should have been killed as planned by Jimmy and Nucky.

    - Slater should have been ordered to kill Jimmy's mom and Harrow and made to look like as if perpetrated by Rothstein and the New York boys in a botched assassination attempt, so now Jimmy would be completely alone and has to keep it together for his son, and teams up with Nucky to get revenge on AR and his crew.-

    Slater also should have been killed after Nucky discovers Margaret's infidelity, but now Margaret is trapped in the marriage to Nucky since she knows he will kill her too if it comes down to it, thus leaving her in a state of perpetual fear. -

    Nucky buys into Jimmy's story about Eli being behind the assassination attempt (it was true after all) and Nucky kills Eli in a chilling closing scene, thus keeping the 'ruthless' angle to Nucky intact.

    Instead we've lost 3 central characters - Jimmy, Van Alden and Eli (jail) - and the show has to completely rebuild itself with this new idiocy with Margaret signing over the land to the Church.

    Yeah, I wonder if the guy who plays Jimmy is looking for his next acting gig so this is how they wrote him out of the storyline.

    It had a lot of action, but agreed that the storyline was a bit disappointing. Part of the problem is that they have been killing off key characters every episode now ... aka "Who will be eliminated next!"

    wait a second Al Capone,Lucky Luciano,Meyer Lansky and Arnold Rothstein are wheeling and dealin crooks? jesus christ i hate to see who you thiunk real gansters are


    i agree that they have killed off a great character but it is obviously for the longer term development of Nuckies character that it came this way,there can be no mistaking that Nuckie crossed a line by pulling the trigger himself

    I'm glad they killed him off, the character is totally badass but that Pitt dude can't pull it off. His face is just too fuckin girly. Shoulda picked someone darker and brooding.

    Me too, from the first episode in Season 2, I hated everything about him.
