The sad thing is, a few years ago we used to be one of the best run clubs.
All self-inflicted too.

Finely tuned machine, until AA wanted to be the big man. Sacking Marotta and promoting the disastrous Paratici, and we haven’t been the same since. 7 years of horrible decisions and we are in the biggest mess we’ve ever been since I’ve been following this club.

Yes, it’s even worse than the Serie B days.

Wasn't it Tuz that want all management and coach that is non Italian?

Seriously Tuzzer who do you really want?
i don't mind italian coaches or managers, so the question isn't exactly for me

i don't want clowns. and a manager who doesn't consider coaches important and doesn't even want to meet before hiring someone is a clown. funny how we didn't even present him already and he already failed

literally zero expectations for the next few years. it could have been so easy: fire giuntoli, bring back platini as president, make chiellini vice president, tognozzi ds, and a not clown ceo. maybe next time

Honestly, I feel like all these coaching rumors are just media speculation. I doubt Elkann made all those changes at the management level just to end up appointing someone like Marco Silva. There’s probably something else going on behind the scenes that the media isn’t aware of. Keep in mind that Giuntoli is gone, and journalists like Di Marzio might not have the same level of insight into the new management's decisions.

    Tak!

It's like we are doing our outmost to retrace the steps on how to fully dismantle a club.

I can no longer follow the process, I don't know who is or will be responsible for what. Who will kick out the new management in a few years? Is it up to Elkann? We already know the new, new, new, new project will fail. We look so much like Inter under Moratti-era that it hurts me. Of course we will continue to muddle through if we shift our projects every year.

A non Italian coach with credentials and winning pedigree would help. Heck, a coach with credentials would help.

Not some random jabroni endorsed by the likes of Mendes and co.

I'm worried we'll continue buying from England.

Bold 1 if he really meant it, why changing Tudor?

Bold 2 in the youtube video you shared, he literally said that he prefer speaking to player and have dinner with player's family than only on paper scouting. That was in line with what i know about wenger's scouting systems that requires scout to know the player background and motivation.

Bold 3 i doubt that Tognozzi has the ability to handle negotiation and assemble solid squad. I don't know the real reason but resigning from granada before a season concluded as a DS is't good sign. Maybe he is kind of Paratici or Moncada that should stay as Head Scout.

Who do you have in mind then?
