Tbh Id hire Platini for this role. He has experience at the highest level and wouldnt stay silent when facing injustice. About Del Piero? My favorite player of all time, had several jerseys, posters as a kid, seen him live scoring a goal which felt like dream coming true. Huge fan of a player. But he seems too nice of a guy to fight with sharks. Has he even commented current situation? A lot of former players gave interviews and backed the club but I dont remember seeing anything from Ale.

Del Piero has a mean streak to him, he's just a really classy guy and rarely shows it. He's also pretty intelligent, if he wasn't such a threat he would not have been exiled imo

I think that he’s silent because he might return. Doesn’t make sense speaking out to much in the media if you’re planning to return, all those words or Tweets can only hurt you. He doesn’t have to prove anything with a simple Tweet

Weren't there reports of Conte wanting him out because he has to much influence in the club and that Conte wanted all the power?

It was in an interview from his brother or something. I know Alex said something like
Del Piero "I would have never left Juventus, but unfortunately the coach (Antonio Conte) did not want me there anymore."
