So what you're saying is that a government is not accountable to it's people and vice-versa.
that isnt what im saying, what im saying is...it has absolutely nothing to do with the majority of the population at the moment and the majority of ruling class. Get your appology from the people who were involved not the people who had nothing to do with it.

Its like if my brother beat someone up and i appologise for it 20 years later.

You and your brother aren't seperate unrelated entities you're part of a bigger aggregation called a family, much like you all are part of a Nation. These things were done in the interest of every single one of you under the guise of National Security and the nation that let progressive governments commit these acts should apologise for it.

They can ask for appologies from the army, from the troops, the CO...but they cannot ask for appologies from the British people, its not our fucking fault, plain and simple.
Your government did this and your government represents you. So even though the British people SHOULD in fact apologise, because it IS their fault, a simple apology by the government will suffice.

Which is all they really asked anyway.
