Hmmm... I think it was last year when he got reelected.

I think that football community should never forgive him with what he's done to Italy and Spain during the last WC.

I personally disagree with 95% of what Blatter does. He is trying to make football a communist sport!

I'd rather say he makes it a capitalistic sport. I bet his dream is a new NHL.

What did he do to Italy and Spain?

Well, in the Korea- Italy quarters two of Vieri's clear goals were called illegal, thus Italy was burried. Same thing happened to Korea - Spain semis. (if I remember everything correctly)

For some unknown reason Blatter brought in unprofessional referees from non-european football associations to manage serious playoff matches of the last WC. These referees were later found increadibly rich after the WC.

No it ain't, bro

It has been widely discussed

Football is winning, winning is money, everybody (including Blatter) made some cash, at the expense of Italy and Spain.

Let's not forget Blatter's amazingly stupid (even for Blatter) suggestion earlier this year that the game of women's soccer could be improved by hot pants.

I wouldn't discard it completely.

What I think would be an excellent idea to make football nicer would be if after the 90 minutes the match is a draw, both teams get one point but then say a 15 min extra time is played and the team that does score gets an extra point. So the winner in extra time would get 2 points and the loser 1 point.

That way once a draw is achieved within the 90 mins, the smaller (or defending team) has nothing to lose and can go forward to try and win an extra point since they would be certain of their one point draw anyway.

It's like ice hockey basically. It would introduce more attacking football imo.
