Moggi couldn't force Capello to include Giannichedda in the squad, unless Capello was personally convinced that Giannchedda could play an important role in our centre midfield. When Giannchedda was regular at Lazio, I thought that he was a good ball winner and a fighter as well, but my theory was proved to be totally untrue when I first watched him in the Bianconeri's shirt.

Appiah is a stud, fighter and very tough, even though, I agree with you that we shouldn't have depended on him as alone defensive midfielder. Regarding Tacchinardi and Appiah's partnership, look mate, I'm totally persuaded that the centre midfield is the most sensitive place in the pitch and a partnership between any two midfielders requires the presence of some skills in both of them to complete each others and not to do the same role. That's why, I do think that a partnership between Tacchinardi and Appiah wouldn't be that great.

Actually, I think that that issue needs lots of discussion.......
well he is a fighter and wears his heart on his sleeve in every game i saw him play last season and this one. This is the type of player he is, and i think capello was convinced with his abilities and rightfully so imo.

Blasi did very well during his first season? Yeah, perhaps for a player without a brain and one leg.
am sure we had this discussion before and we didnt reach anywhere, so am gonna spare your time and mine
