Not a surprise. We all knew he had the technical skills of Sturaro before he even joined.

but imo he is so good at what he does that he can make up for it, provided he has others in the line up to make up for it, and it is against an opponent where we need a player solely designated to battling and chasing. Just have no idea why he would play in a game like tonight.

Playing like a better version of Sturaro. Good movement and pressing, but awful when he gets the ball.

Against Roma and Milan, that will probably work. But in games where we have more of the ball, we need much better. We need more than one passer in 3 man mid.

He's never been good technically but something is not right about him since his injury. A poor technical player out of form is pretty useless, unless you just want him to break up player (i.e. a Sturaro). At home to Bologna needing to win is not that game. Why not Bentancur? It's not like he is going to start the Coppa.

Ive lost count how many runs he made just to turn around and realize that nobody's gonna give him a pass because either Sandro or Asamoah decided to give a ball back

He gets lost when he has to concetrate on attack more then defense. I dont like him in this role, he should focus in defense and leave attack to Pjanic and Khedira.
