Does the trick. All that matters.
Us Belgians and Americans are such poor fuckers when it comes to wine. I lived right next to a enoteca in Bologna, you got 1,5 liter of quality wine for 1 euro. It wasn't great obviously, but it wasn't piss either, it was solid.

There's great wine made in America. But if you want lots of it and for cheap, you've got to lower the standards.

I know. It's the price I'm worried about. In Italy you can get decent wines at very low prices. You can also get very good wine for 8 euros a bottle or something along those lines. And the refills you get at enotecas for these very low prices are overall good quality. When it comes to wine I got to say I really appreciate the Italian culture.

They're barbarians when they talk about beer.

Yea, I tasted some really nice Californian wines, mostly white wine was really good.
California and New York have some of the best wineries, though you can find good stuff in the Northwest (Oregon and Washington) as well.

You can get a good bottle of wine in the US for between 10 and 20 dollars. You just have to be into wine to know what is a good buy and what isn't. I am not, my parents however are. Though they do also get cases of 50 - 75 dollar bottles.

I don't know much about the Wine scene but I'm pretty sure Sonoma and Napa valley which are very close to me are world renowned for the "Wine country" out there.

Swag would probably know more.
