Actually, Milan would have a good claim to be the most sucsesful, because most of Real Madrid titles came long time ago when competition was not as tough as it is today.
Well, there's a certain Juventus, who totally dominate the domestic league in which Milan happens to play.

Dunno,

Real: 9 CL, 30 La Liga
Milan: 7 CL, and only 17 Scudetto.

U do the math...

PS both won the European Cup 3-4 times, since it's called CL

Barca and MU over Juventus?
again in commercialism yes and by very far. U think Juve are a bigger club than Utd? ur dreaming! I love Juve but sorry if we had signed Nani and Anderson u think anyone would have noticed or made a big deal?
I look at my young relatives, 7-13 year old boys. They are football fans, and who they support? Man u cos of Ronaldo, Arsenal cos of Henry, Barca cos of Ronaldinho and Messi, Inter cos of Zlatan, Milan cos of Kaka. We don't have anyone of that stature and attractiveness (not physical attractiveness) to attract a new generation of fans.

so the last century counts for nothing, right?

And yes Juve are a bigger club than MU and Barcelona.

sadly yes! an year old boy who is watching football is not gonna go on wikipedia to see who has done the best in the last 50 years to find a team to support. he's gonna be watching TV, being entertained by Kaka, will want to be just like him and will eventually support Milan. That's how it worked with me, Baggio.

We can certanly agree that Juve is the most sucsesfull Italian club domesticly.
But when it comes to europe, Milan has been better.
Out of 11 Champions Leagues Italy has wan (Spanish have wan just as much), Milan wan while all other combined for the other 4.
So looking at it like that, they have been the best representative of Italian football.

This discussion is going nowhere. The best in Europe, the best in Italy or other countries , the best in the neighborhood... , because it was long time ago it has lesser worth that today's trophy from this or that competition... Close it already.

As Isha once perfectly put it:

Real is the most Successful Football Club in the world... Juve is the Greatest!
Yea, but she is a cunt slag. She also once said that Hitler and the Nazis were the same as the Mafia.

As in commercialism, fan awareness, and by league power.

    1) Man Utd.
    2) Real Madrid
    3) Barca
    4) Ac Milan
    5) Juventus
No, you would have to put Lyon in there and Bayern before Juve if you wanted to talk about commercialism and league power.
Barca and MU over Juventus?
    Umm, yes.
    Del Piero is a club?
Some here tend to think so, which is the stupidest thing I have ever seen in my life.

    Elvin......you just got owned.

You have to be the dumbest motherfucker alive.
I assume he is since some people seem to support him and him alone.

Agree....people like Elvin are just going to be biased and not open up their eyes and brainpans long enough to admit that even though Juve are a big club, they are not the biggest, and will never be because their international commercialisation is not nearly as wide-spread as Milan's, or any English team. This is mostly because of the satelite television coverage of the EPL, which is mostly all you can get here. A lot of other things have to do with te nationalisty of the players. I know 5 or 6 brazilians that are huge Milan fans because of Kaka and Dida. A great majority of Juve supporters just want to say: HEY, ONLY SIGN ITALIANS! That is as dumb as yelling at your own mother, "SHUT UP, VIRGIN!" Why do you think Man Utd signed that dumb chinker? He can't play ball to save his rice patty, but hey, they have the largest asian fanbase in history.

So Elvin, do me a favor and open up your god-damned eyes, jewpants.

    You know what,

    CL 2004-05
    Juventus 1-0 Bayern (Nedved)
    Bayern 0-1 Juventus (Del Piero)

    CL 2005-06
Bayern 2-1 Juventus (Deisler, some loser - Ibrahimovic)
Juventus 2-1 Bayern (Trezeguet, Trezeguet - Deisler)

Now you open your eyes, look at this scores, look at the names of the scorers, compare their international status'es, their fame, career, and just shut the fuck up, Burke!

In terms of worldwide support,Manchester United pawns Juventus.Hell those fucktards pawn every club in the world when it comes to support.Manchester United is a marketing phenomenon.Im no too sure about Barcelona though.Barcelona is more loved than Juventus in South East Asia but i dont know much about their fanbase in other parts of the world. In terms of pure footballing history however,Juventus is a bigger club than both Manchester United and Barcelona.Juventus is not the greatest in the world, nor is Juve the biggest, but it definatley has a greater history than Barcelona and Manchester United.
