The first day of Juventus’ 2012/13 campaign has officially begun. After completing their final formalities at Juventus Center this morning, the Bianconeri have arrived in Val d'Aosta.
A total of 26 players departed Vinovo ahead of their opening pre-season workout at 5pm. Recent arrival Mauricio Isla has remained behind to continue treatment on the knee injury sustained whilst playing for Udinese last season.
Brazilian centre-back Lucio, who recently completed a free transfer switch from Inter, is due to join up with his new team-mates on Saturday 14 July.
