The main thing is to have a good finisher. If Arsenal had Trez or Van Nistelrooy playing for them they would have been close to winning the league this year.
Yes because Arsenal have great creative players and play brilliant attacking football. Service is never going to be a problem for a striker at Arsenal. If we had Fabregas and Rosicky controlling our midfield Trezeguet would be the perfect man for us too.

Don't get me wrong, Trez is a great player, just frustrating at times. When Berbatov, Kanoute and Viduka don't score they can still contribute to the cause and change the game. Trezeguet and Gilardino cannot.

Trezeguet might be frustrating at times, but I would rather have him in my side than Berbatov, Kanoute or Viduka. Either way, you're relinquishing some facet of our game... natural goalscoring or play away from goal. The former is the more valuable asset in my opinion.

Berbatov is excellent in the box and in deeper positions which makes him more effective than Trezeguet overall.

I guess its between the "hunter" and Bianchi if we r getting one more striker, considering that "hopefully" trezi stays.

Boji and zala will probably leave imo or mybe the latter would stay

I was wondering the scores in the last years of Bianchi and Huntelaar...Huntelaar in one season has scored more goals than Bianchi in his entire pro career...Bianchi is a lot overrated player that this year has a good year. Bianchi for me is similar to Tavano: A one year wonder. not more. Tavano this year hasn't found space to play neither in Valencia nor in Roma. And this is weak for a player that should be a good scorer. Bianchi is overrated. And Huntelaar at this moment already underrated. This year Huntelaar scored in 31 matches 21 goals in the Eredivisie without counting the goals with the NT and the Uefa Cup. Ah and something that i found funny: Sneijder in 30 matches scored 18 times...more then Super-Bianchi this years :) go for both and lets kick some asses in Milano

Let's get Van Der Vaart too. :D Huntelaar, Sneijder and VDV for us will be what Gullit, Rijkaard and van Basten were for Milan !

:toast:

007 said a few times that Huntelaar is blocked for a amount of 16 mil euros. But the summer market is long and we have to know some situations of other players and clubs (Trez first of all and there was something like a request that would bring Hunter to Arsenal-Henry to Inter and Toni and Samuel to us but I dont know much more about this but it seems that the juve stuff dont like this request and Secco and Bettega "has fallen in love" with Hunter).

This tells you how easy actually is to score in Dutch league. If you are impressed by Huntelaar which scored 20 goals in Dutch league then something is wrong with you. I would rather take a player who scored 20 goals in Serie A then a player who scored 20 goals in Dutch league.

Biachi will fit in perfectly with the Juventus system. He would work really well with Del Piero in my opinion and could learn a lot from Trezeguet. I think Bianchi would be a perfect player to share time with Trezeguet.

As far as Mesto goes: I think he is a good player and if we can pick him up along with Bianchi, why not? He would be a good player to have on the roster and it would allow us to dump a player that would be behind him. Raggi is good too and free, and although we would have to pay him a salary I would pick him up whether we sign Mesto or not.

I like the names we are associating with Juventus. Bianchi, Mesto and Raggi are all good young players, but I would be lying if I didn't feel a bit scarred. Juventus isn't exactly the type of team to go building upon youth. Though I like these guys and think we should sign them, they are still just backup players (very good backups). We need some veterans or some proven talent in the squad for Serie A. The Serie A will be back next year folks make no bones about it.
