Signing Mesto and Bianchi would be a good move IMO. However, I do think we need to really spend the money a big name in CB or DM. I like this speculation of these players though. I think Bianchi's game will really mesh well with Del Piero and Mesto will allow Zebina and Grygera to become available as CB's, although I think both are "less dangerous" outside.

i remember we were linked with Mesto a few seasons ago, but i agree with mark he is too attacking for a rb and with sali coming in we are covered in rm!

i havent seen much of Bianchi, jst his goals on youtube.

is he purely a target man who will offer little in linking midfield and attack eg Trez or does he drop off to help out midfield and do the occasional dribble?

He's more of a creative finisher if that makes sense. Does the occasional dribble, and is a good finisher. Still needs some experience though.

If we wait another yr on Bianchi, and he has a similar season, his price will go up alot.

Mesto isn't a natural rb, and were better off going for Raggi of Empoli, who is free.

Bianchi might be good, I've watched a few Reggina games and it's incredible that they've almost saved themselves from relegation even with the big points penalty. Mesto...he's more a wingback, like a Brazilian wingback who is almost purely offensive. Nix on that. I wouldn't mind Zalayeta + $ for Bianchi though.

Bianchi is not really the poacher that Gilardino is, but he's a better target man and more involved in the game. That's actually a good thing IMO, since we all see what happens when box players such as Trezeguet and Gilardino have difficulties finding the goal - they become pretty worthless. Bianchi would still offer us something even if he doesn't score 20+ goals a season.

For the same reasons, I'm not too eager to see Huntelaar join us. I'd rather see strikers such as Suazo, Amauri, Berbatov, Anelka or Kanouté (and Bianchi, of course) with us. Forwards who can create for others and themselves.

I have seen Mesto play plenty of times now, and he reminds me a lot of a right footed Balzaretti. Good in attack and comfortable on the ball, but tends to get caught out of position. Not sure if I see the point though since we have Salihamdzic.

His playing style is similar to Zambrotta, yes. His role in Juventus would be similar to Balzaretti's though, who suffers from the same weakness.

i hope they get Quagliarella or Bianchi they are both good young players, mesto is hard working SB and will be good fighter just like balzaretti i remember his games against juve he never give up and always want to win the ball everytime he get closer to it
and what about G.Rossi???

I highly doubt we'll get Rossi. He's probably gonna go back to Man Utd, and if he doesn't, he's better off staying at Parma where he can shine. I doubt he'll get playing time @ Juve anyway. Quagliarella? Good, don't think we need him though.

Well if he's in the Gilardino mold I don't want him. I'm not a fan of players who don't contribute anything when they're not scoring.

Trez relies way too much on other players feeding him the ball... and when his finishing is off he doesnt contribute anything to the game... but he did score 20+ goals last year...
Trezeguet is lethal when he gets decent service but otherwise he's useless. I prefer guys like Berbatov who are outstanding finishers with other impressive qualities.
