Seriously I don't think he's anyway near Mercury. That doesn't necessarily mean he has a bad voice.
Ahh, you mean Justin Hawkins.

He does have a good voice. No where near Freddie quality, but still a good voice.

Vocalist: I'll take Robert Plant.
Guitarist: Assuming it has to be someone alive, I'd say David Gilmour, Jimmy Page, Santana or Joe Satriani. If not, then I'll take Hendrix.
Bassist: Les Claypool (Primus) or John-Paul Jones
Drummer: John Dolmayan (System of a Down)

In Swag's twisted world of annoying music, the two vocalists who have enthralled me most of late have to be the nails-on-chalkboard abrasiveness of Poney P (of Montreal's Les Georges Leningrad) and the sugar-induced-coma sweetness of Satomi Matsuzaki (of SF's Deerhoof).

Listen at your own risk. :notlist:

john bonham sings???

my fav:
-vocals: axl rose , brian johnson, steven tyler, robert plant

-lead guitar: i love led Zeppelin but page is nothing against Hendrix

Slash hasn't written a decent riff/solo since GNR's last recording Aint It Fun

its impossible to listen to more than 2 Van Halen solo's in a row

-rythm: gilby clarke, or izzy stradlin

drums: mitch mitchell or john bonham

bass: billy cox

Dust, I can clearly see that you are a Zep fan

Cheers buddy, what do you think about The Doors
I like 'em definitely...always thought they weren't quite as legendarily brilliant as some make them out, but I still think they did some excellent stuff :)

And yes, I'm a big Zep fan, but with all the objectivity I can muster I think most of their members belong on a list like this - DEFINITELY Bonzo and Page do.
