Vocal: Freddie Mercury - not only for singing capabilities, but also for knowing what to do with his voice and backing vocals (beatles are no1 in this category) Female it has to be Aretha Franklin (Also Kate Bush)

Bassist: Tough one. Too many good ones. Steve Harris (Iron Maiden) and Flea (RHCP) are my fav.

Guitarist: Also tough. First and foremost Is Hendrix, but Gary Moore, Satriani, Vai, Jeff Haley, Angus Young - It's a matter of taste more than anything else.

Drummer: Easier choice. Mine is Keith Moon (WHO) more because of style of play than anything else. There are more tehnical ones, buth Keith is always my first choice.

:thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb:

He would be also my choice.

Another guy I can mention is George Michael: there is no many other singing guys, who would have such diapason, timbre and voice possibilities as he has.

Guitarists: I cant mention one, I've got few who I value high.
May, Slash, Frusciante, Santana, Clapton, Vai, Page, Satriani.

Bassist and drummer: I'm not sure here, I liked live performances guys from RHCP, Queen or GnR.

Vocalist: James Hetfield. He just can't be beat. I also like Erlend Øye and Jeff Buckley, Thom Yorke is also good.

Guitarist: Jimmy Page :star: . Can do it all, just superb. Impossible to beat.

Bassist: Cliff Burton (RIP), don't really know anyone else that stand out. John Paul Jones is good, but I admire him the most for his versatility, not his bass playing specifically. Phil Lynott was great. Les Claypool is also good.

Drummer: John Bonham, no contest.

Edit: Forgot some folks.

Vocals:
My favourite singer is Bono he is just fantastic, many won't agree with me on this one. Another singer who is really great is Muse's singer. James Heatfield has to be mentioned. Jim Morrison gets a spot. Eddie Vedder is in aswell

1. Bono
2. Eddie Vedder
3. James Hetfield
4. Muse's singer
5. Joakim Thåström

Guitarists:
This one is pretty tough. I think Jimmy Page from Led Zeppelin takes my first place. I think Jimi Hendrix is very overrated but he gets a top five spot. Eric Clapton is brilliant but I am not sure if he fits in this band. Chuck Berry is one of my favourite artists I couldn't leave him out of this list. Van Halen is great as well. As U2 is my favourite band I have to mention The Edge, his music talent has never been accepted which is really sad.

1. Jimmy Page
2. Van Halen
3. Chuck Berry
4. Jimi Hendrix
5. The Edge
6. Eric Clapton

Bass:
Strange that we haven't seen Pete Townshend, Flea and Les Claypool are the only ones that stick out.

1. Pete Townshend
2. Flea
3. Les Claypool

Drums:

Everyone will choose Bonham here so I pick Joey Jordison from Slipknot just to be original.

1. Joey Jordison
2. John Bonham
3. Neil Pert

Dream team:

Bono singing
Jimmy Page on guitar
Pete Townshend on bass
Joey Jordison as drummer

Best Vocalist: Freddie Mercury, hands down. One of the greatest frontmen as well as vocalists of all time. Fantastic songrwriter as well.

Best Bassist: Fieldy (Korn) practically invented a new style of bass sound and playing.

Best Guitarist: Hendrix, Hendrix, and ummmmm Hendrix.

Best Drummer: Danny Carey (Tool) To hear this guy play is like listening to an orchestra of drums, only to realize that it's just him. A master of timing. Phoenomanal live as well. I would normally say Neil Peart (Rush), but Carey is the new wave of drummer.
