I kind of remember this in watching Asian football show. Isn't this match the one where both team tried to loose because the winner was to face a strong team in the next round, and Indonesian defender smacked the ball past his own goal on purpose.:D:wallbang::LOL:

MARSEILLE vs. MONTPELLIER (5-4) in 98/99 at half-time Montpellier was up (0-4) maybe it wasn't THE best but cetainly it stuck into my head

    Do you remember how he used to score freekicks from almost the cornerflag. (Rangers 96 for example)

    yep, the last minute a smartass Indonesian smacked the ball into his own goal :howler: you should see the delight on the indon players and the anger on the thai players after the match :LOL:


    both teams didnt want to meet vietnam..since thailand 'won', the met Vietnam, who i think they beat..
